Course Curriculum Overview

The teachers are very qualified and intelligent and have very good communication skills all the doubts are explained and you can ask the teachers anything anytime. Feedback forms are also given to rate the teacher and the teaching methods followed. Exams were taken on time and the course is done well in advance so no last-minute postponement occurs.

Internships Opportunities

The internship opportunities were a great many companies came in the 3rd year like cisco, Microsoft, adobe, google and many more. The stipend offered was also very good and they hired a lot of people that satisfied their criteria.

Placement Experience

Placement season occurs in the 4th year and it is very good the average package for my branch ie mechanical engineering is 1500000 and that for computer science is 2500000 and many companies visit the campus for it, finance and many other fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

Mcn scholarship is given to people whose parents have fees less than 11 lakhs according to their cgpa the fee for a semester is 215000 and the fee after every semester increases. Internship and placement opportunities are given and good companies visit the campus.

Campus Life

Campus life is very good and my colleagues are also very friendly and supportive. The staff is also very understanding and supportive. Eating outlets are open at various times and mostly there are no restrictions on students on when to return to the hostel at night all so overall the campus life is very good.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel fees are 30000 and the food quality in the mess is also very good. The registration for a hostel is also very easy and you can form wings in the hostel with your friends you are also asked to fill out which hostel you want and you will be given that accordingly.

Admission

The admission process was very good and easy to understand and all the things were explained well before in advance. Eligibility was given on the website for all branches. No reservation is given in our college that is bits Pilani.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

From fourth year the students become eligible for campus placements And before that you have to go for outside placements by students himself only companies visited like Microsoft Zomato and all no Google and number of companies are not very good only mass recruiters are there like three L package tcs and old highest package is around 53 lakhs by Microsoft last year in 2023 and 4 academic year percentage of getting placements is like around you can say out of 100 4040 will get placement Every package is around 5 according to the chorus but I know it is around 3 lpa In reality I am pre paying for gate exam right now let us see what happened

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The exposure given for finance and Entreprenurship in BITS Pilani is well over what an average engineering college might provide you . They offer a minor option using which one can sit in finance placements with companies like UBS Deutsche Bank , Jane Street and many more .The admission process for BITS includes the BITSAT exam which is an MCQ based exam . I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
