Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because this is my passion. I love engineering. This is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra.GECA is a Government Autonomous college . Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and remaining is post graduated. supporting faculty .

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 74104 per year

Placement Experience

When students are in 7th semester i.e.in 4th year they can eligible for campus. Companies visited includes Siemens,Rucha Electricals , L&T ,TATA , and many more reputed companies .about 90 %students getting placed every year. with average package 4 lakh rupees.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for different casts and categories. For the general category, it ranges between 74 to 81 thousand. For OBC it is approximately 41 thousand. and for( SC and ST categories it is only 1200 rupees for the first year and only 200 rupees for the remaining years). Many scholarships are available according to cast and categories You can check eligible schemes on mahadbt.

Campus Life

GECA has its own library, in which all the books are available. we just have to make our profile in the library to take books. Various sports grounds are available on campus including Badminton, cricket, and volleyball, Gym is also available here.

Admission

Students can take admission in the first year after state level entrance exam or can get admission in the direct second year after diploma or BSc. All information regards the admission process is available on GECA's website.

YCCE College : My Experience

Placement Experience:

The placements are good in the YCCE college as compared to other colleges in Nagpur. From seventh semester the students are eligible for the campus reqruitments. The companies that offer placements in YCCE are Microsoft, TCS, Infosys, wipro, Persistent etc. The highest package is around 24 LPA and the average package is around 5 LPA. Around 70-80% students get placed every year in the college. My plans after getting the degree is to get a secure job and spent time with family.

college placements upto corona pendemic is very good but after that its affects our and other college palcements also but its better about 70% of student get placed . as per their performance in academics and skills . college bring very good package offer companies in first 6 to 8 months mostly and inbetween massrecuriter comes . and last 3 to 4 monts most of mass recuriter comes .

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

placements start in 7th - 8th semester . Companies like wipro cisco and TCs etc visit. Average package is 4-5 LPA , and highest I could say 9 to 10 LPA .. my plans would be- if not got high paying job on campus I will try off campus too..

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.

Life in GECA, not so good but still you enjoy it.

Due to the reputation of being a government college and autonomous status and also due to city vibes, I chose this one. I was getting private pune engineering colleges but the fees and other expenses dosen't make sense to the features they provide. You need to give mhtcet examand score maybe 90+ percentile to make your sure your place. And cutoff for tech branches of cse, it, ENTC is pretty high. Minimum 95 percentile is required....Read More
