Review from an average guy

There are all types of courses according to one's interest and the course curriculum is very practical and flexible as one can decide which courses to take or drop and also the timings of the classes according to their needs.

There are many companies, for example, Adobe, Cisco, Wells Fargo, Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, Jsw, Tata steels, Texas Instruments, and Axis Bank, most of these are for software developer roles, some are for core-related roles and others are for quant roles. Almost all of them have a stipend above 70,000 per month.

Students become eligible from the 7th semester for campus placements, and many companies like Google, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Sprinklr, Cisco, Zomato, Adobe, Amazon, etc. come for campus placements. Almost 90% of students get placed in our college. The highest package was around 70-80lpa and the average is around 15lpa. My plan is to prepare for UPSC after my degree.

Well, there is a Merit Cum Need scholarship which is awarded to financially retarded students according to their performances in exams. Also, fee increases by 10% every year. For jobs, many companies came for internships such as Goldman Sachs, Google, Sprinklr, Adobe, Amazon, Cosco, TI, etc. and their average stipend is above one lac each.

The Tech fest of BITS is APOGEE(in April), the sports fest is BITS Open Sports Meet(BOSM in October), and the cultural fest is OASIS(in November) which is also the 2nd best college fest in Asia. Talking about libraries, all types of books and journals are available and can be issued easily. Classrooms are neat and clean with facilities for recordings and A.C. Almost all the sports have a sports team in BITS, also we have many clubs and departments which manage all the fest, some are for social causes also like NIRMAN, NSS, PARC, etc.

About facilities in the room, are provided with shared rooms till the end of the 2nd year and single rooms after that. We are provided with a fan in the rooms and there are no AC or heaters in the room. The meal quality of mess is good sometimes and also bad sometimes. Paneer, all types of daal, poha, idli sambhar, dosa, aloo Paratha, bread pakora, pav bhaji, etc. Alare some of the dishes of our mess.

Well, I enrolled in this college through an exam known as BITSAT. This is a college that provides good opportunities for those who thrive for them. It is an adequate college for those who are financially well worse or can apply for education loans
