Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science and engineering and I opted for it because I have an interest in coding and I am addicted to websites. In a single classroom, there are around 71 students and the teachers are good and well-educated.

there is campus placement available in the college. various company comes for hiring in this college like Infosys. From semester 6 you will become eligible for campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 19 LPA and the average package offered is 5 LPA. almost all the students get placed who are in cse.

Fees and Financial Aid

In college fees are 1.25 lakh and some students come under a Maharashtra scholarship and have to pay less than other students. Till now there is no fee hike in this college. various scholarships are offered here eg mahadbt.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very bad, there are no sports activities and the campus is too small. There is no annual fest and tech fest. Books are available in the library and journals are also available in the college. there is a sports ground in the college but no sports activity is promoted by college.

Admission

you have to give mhcet exam and then according to your marks, you will get into college. Then you have to apply for a cap round and have to come under a certain cutoff to get admission to this college. There is a Jain minority quota in this college and if you are Jain then it is easy for you to get into the college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills.
