Remarks

There was an entrance test for admission ..and application forms are generally out in April -May. Reservations are available for Sc /ST/OBC. Eligibility for admission is a minimum of 60% in 12th from a recognised board.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course for deep study of my subject and the faculty is very good, well intellectual and well behaved. All faculty are PhD holders with good teaching experience. Exams are conducted at the proper time. there are 2 sessionals for every subject before the semester exam.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 11275 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is very low because it is a central university and the education is very good and the reputation of the college is also very excellent. There is a placement office and many companies visit campus for placement

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very mesmerising ..Environment is very good..Amu has the biggest library in Asia named Maulana Azad library with plenty of books. you can take out books for reading. There are many social groups like there Is CEC (cultural education centre). Horse riding club, Swimming club, Games committee, skating club, Football club, cricket club

Hostel Facilities

There is a very good facility present in the hostel like every hostel has a separate reading room and the rent is very very low. a meal is also good but it is very difficult to get a room in a hostel within 2 years of college but the locality is quite good for renting a room

?I dont remeber clearly about the eligibjlity process but i think from the sem5 students are eligible for the placement campus im not sure about it ?many companies like Pan India ,Sbi ,axis bank etc visited in the campus ?the avarage package i have seen from the student got the 4 to 5 Lpa And the hight i think its 13Lpa ?60% PECENTAGE OF STUDENTS getting placemnets ? my plans are diffrent ,after completing my degree i want to go further for the film making

All you need to know before getting admission in B.A course at A.M.U

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible for campus placement. However the campus placement doesn't prove very helpful. Few people get placement from B.A courses. Students of B.Com and B.Sc are more likely to get placement.

Remarks:

Any of my siblings studied from this college which gave me a clear view of the environment of this college from the start. It was also very close to my home making it easier for me to commute daily. And as I always wanted to study in an all girls college, this seemed a better option. It had good faculty and infrastructure making it different from other colleges around.

A Glimpse of Life in Aligarh Muslim University

I chose this college mainly because of the less fees structure and the greenary campus , a good place to study.Moreover, I'm preparing for govt exams also, so the time needed during M.tech. is enough to focus on exams too. Also, I don't want any gap between the study and job as we have to justify later during interview (the year gaps , if any).
