Remarks

basically students and social life of the college is the best part I like in the college. faculties behaviour, internships and placement opportunities, some departments in hostel required a lot of improvement.

Entrance Preview

I took UPTU entrance exam. According to my research I found this a good enough college.. Admission process was based through online application form.

Course Curriculum Overview

I love Electronic circuits, Physics and Calculus in the course curriculum. Some subjects which are not needed, need to be deleted.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, Internships are provided and generally stipend. Internships should be provided to students in reputed firms.

Placement Experience

Average package is Rs.2-3 lac per year. Accenture , IBM etc. are some of the companies visited for the campus placement.

College Events

Departmental fests and Cultural events are celebrated in the campus. Yes, They are useful in developing management skills.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Tuition fees is Rs. 1.25 lac per year and hostel fees is Rs. 1.5 lac per year (approx), It is slightly expensive.

Some scholarship on the basis of 12th score is provided.

Campus Life

I love students, infrastructure and atmosphere in the campus.

In all hostel facilities and mess food is ok. A/C rooms should be provided in the hostel. WiFi limit and connectivity should be improved.

Yes, exams held timely and get result on time. Difficulty level of internal exams is Moderate.

Faculty

Prof. Shiv Kumar Yadav is my favourite faculty member. Faculty should listen to the students.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good. Companies that hire for Electrical core: Nvidia, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Bajaj etc. Software/Quant compaines open to Electrical: Squarepoint Capital, NK Securities, Google, Microsoft etc. The % of students getting placed are 85%. Average package is 29.33 lpa. I have got an internship in Nvidia Software.

HBTU review from a Ist year student.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement is very good in this college. In my own CSE branch there is good placement package you can get. But in this year due to recession the placements is less in IT section but still placement is going on and top package has crossed 35LPA. During previous years top package was around 44LPA and average was 10-12 LPA . Also in other branches like Chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, the placement is at its best of 100% always.
