Remarks

There was an exam called VIITEEE which is VIT Entrance Examination. By writing that exam we can get into VIT through counselling and other processes. We can find the application form, application fees and dates on VIT's website.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for Cyber security and digital forensics is appropriate as there is an equal mix of theory and practical components. The student-faculty ratio is also good as there are many faculty. Teaching is excellent as all the teachers are PhD holders. They have in-depth knowledge

Internship opportunities are made available by various good companies. We have an internship as a compulsory course which needs to finish. Many technically sound companies visit the campus. Also, the placement and training cell (PAT) provides very good support for students

Placement Experience

Placements of VIT are one of the best in India as they provide Super Dream and Dream offers with various big companies such as Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Very large number of companies visit the campus. The highest package last year was around 42 Lakh provided by Google

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structure is around 2 lakh per year for the first category. It is the basic fee which we have to pay and any private institution charges almost the same or even more than this. The cost to study will be relatively higher than government seats but we will also get placement and other related facilities.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is okayish as a major of the infrastructure is yet to be completed. There is just one academic building and 2 hostels for boys and 1 hostel for girls. Construction is going on. There are various technical and non-technical clubs in the college like Linux club, Android Club, Photography club, and various others

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is good as we get options from single sharing room to 8 sharing room with AC or without AC. We can choose the room of our choice. Rooms are cleaned every day. Food is good but after some days it gets boring because of the same taste.

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
