In B. Tech for admission, there is mandatory more than 60 % in PCM in 12th. There is an entrance exam in which a student has to be passed for admission. The application form is available in each admission branch which is being opened in each city during admission time. Not more relaxation of reservation. They should provide better guidance about branch selection as per the student's interest.

I choose the mechanical branch because I have big connection with mechanical since my childhood. I love machines and want to explore them. The faculty is very professional, supportive, loving and technically strong. If I talk about the faculty: student ratio then it is 1:50. Mostly faculty are gate-qualified and have M.Tech and PhD from NIT or IIT. If I talk about the term exams, it was thrice in one semester meaning that in one year there were 6 midterms so I have to give an exam each 1 & a half month.

Students have self internships arrangements, college only provides industrial visits to companies. I have done my internship at a Gurgaon-based company. Students can online apply for internships in various companies according to their interests and selection. If I talk about the project we had started work on our project from the second year. We have six members team in our project and were working together on it according to our free schedules.

If I talk about the placement at GLA University that is quite good compared to the others. In the final year starting the company started to visit the college for recruitment. Infosys, Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro they are the mass recruters of the college. 90 % of students get their starting jobs from college.

The fees of my college were 145000 per year in 2013 and now it is more than 170000 per year which is high compared to others. They give the option to deposit the fees in two instalments according to your semester. No doubt fees are too high but sometimes feel it is worth it. There is a scholarship which is provided by the government and I also found the scholarship in my first year and third year. Scholarship totally depends on the government scheme and budget but the college fully supports its students. Placements begin in the month of October and were carried on till May. The placement of my college is good compared to the others in every branch. At the end of the final year, 90 % of students have their starting jobs from college.

The atmosphere of the college and hostels is very good. Hostels are very much clean and highly facilitate. The campus is also very big and have so many parks and grounds for sports. There are so many cultures as well as tech fest which they conduct. We were running an NGO named udhan which provides free education, clothes, and books to needy children who are interested in studying but financially weak. Udhan is still providing service and is operated by college students.

Hostels are very much clean and facilitated. In my college boys' and girls' hostels are separate and there is extra security provided by the college in girls' hostels. The food quality is also good, it has a menu system which is run by the students as per their mess. Registration of the hostel is started along with admission to college and the seats are limited. There are also private hostels or PGs nearby the college which are available in low budgets.
