Remarks

First of all, I give the PTET exam, and the marks required for eligibility were approx 280+ out of 600, the application form fees paying process and the dates to apply, all can be found on mgsu website, the link can be found on Google easily, but the sometimes the site didn't work properly, so I would like if this gets improved, and site works properly

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I wanted to become a teacher for which graduation is required, therefore i choosen bed course. The student ratio in the college is also fine, there are an equal number of males and females, also college provides some facilities for the disbaled people. The exams are taken around in four months and are taken well in time, which are easy to pass if studied well. The teachers do not check sheets properly sometimes. But overall, you can get good grades in finals if studied well

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for the course from the past two years is approximately same, equalling to 27000rs per annum, all fees included and has not increased in past 2 years. And considering other studying expenditure, the amount reaches to approximately 30000rs per annum, for a quality study. Scholarship is also provided to the needy, approximately 20000rs is refunded to the needy, so for them, approximately 10000rs per annum is the expense. Considering that you have a government job, there you don't get any scholarships.

Campus Life

3.5

The annual activities and fests are done in good way, we have had sports week, cultural activities, in month of march, and also there is a cricket ground attached to college, most books are available in library of main subjects, but compulsory subjects books are mostly unavailable. Students are not having any big social groups or clubs. Though I like the events held on campus, including sports, cultural events, farewell, freshers, and food fest.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was interested in economics. There is a 1:30 ratio of students to teachers. The teachers are highly qualified. The teaching methods are good. They use presentations and pdfs to teach us in class. The term exams are conducted on time. It is moderately difficult to pass the examinations. You have to study well to pass.

Remarks:

There's an evident lack of social life around the university as it is far away from the city which can't help fulfill normal joyous outings. The college has extremely good infrastructure but lacks seriousness among current students as well as faculties. There is unnecessary restrictions put on students, especially girl students which is biased and clear form of sexism.
