Remarks
My admission was very easy. I did not give any entrance exams. I got admission on the basis of my percentage i.e. 76.6%. To get admission one should have 60% and above in the specific subject and overall. One can find the application details on their website i.e. dhsk.org There is no reservation but there are certain benefits for the BPL category
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose Bachelor in economics (H). The professors are very knowledgeable and supportive. They use every type of information technology. They give lectures both verbally and virtually. many projects, surveys, and curricular activities are also organized by them. The HOD and Ass. Prof was a Ph.d. graduate and the other teachers were MA graduates. There were 3 exams in 1 sem, 2 of them were sessional which were taken in the gap of 1 month and the last was the final exam which included viva, projects, seminars, and written papers.
Fees and Financial Aid
As it was a semi-government college, the fee was very affordable. One had to pay admission fees up to 10k at first. Later we needed to pay semester fees and exam fees which were under 5k. there were many benefits for the students belonging to the BPL category. They had to pay a very less amount and no exam fees.
Campus Life
Dhsk college celebrated its annual fest every year in the month of February-March. It included sports like kabaddi, chess, bodybuilding, cricket, marathons, etc. It also included dance, singing, and beauty contest. This fest continues for about a week. There is a huge library which is accessible to all the students and staff.
