NCHMCT&AN under Ministry of Tourism, GoI The ministry allocates a budget institute wise. I always wanted to work in the hospitality industry therefore chose the course

The course curriculum needs more practical aspects and horizon broadened. The curriculum should adopt to latest trends in the industry and have more international affiliations. The students will benefit more of the said changes are adopted. The course was overall dated and provides a mix of exposure.

As a part of course curriculum, 6 month internship is essential with a nominal stipend. Otherwise also there are scope of working part time along with the course. It is advised that students can work over weekends and keep the weekdays free for studies and daily chores

The leading hotel chains like ITC, Taj, Oberoi's and other international chains FO visit for campus placements. Now a days there is also a trend of Retail and online entities hiring from hotel management colleges. The experienced students also opt for facilities management roles across Corporates

The entire year was well planned to provide holistic exposure of industry and academia. Inter college competitions are a highlight here. Plus the functions and activities planned inside the institute are best quality and provided ample exposure. The entire year is planned

The fees is highly subsidised as it a Union Government Institute run directly by Ministry of tourism, GoI. The private institutions charge almost 4X fees for similar courses. The college is ranked in the 1st 5 in the national ranking and provides for a healthy growth of students.

Not sure as I did not come to know of any such facility. May be for outperforming students there may be scholarships but I did not qualify for them. Education loans are available from all leading banks in India

Healthy gender equality ratios are followed. Students from varied backgrounds and geographical regions take admission in the college. The college management has strict rules to treat students at parity irrespective of gender, class, background and economic status

On a scale of 10, 8 is a good ranking. The college management has managed all its facilities with presence of wardens/custodians who are always eager to help and assist. The facilities are moreover managed by the students providing full transparency and best quality at all times. The facilities though have further improved after I left the institute.

Strong Alumni connect has been observed in the last 15 years of my experience. The seniors at college are most cooperative and the feeling of an extended family is appropriate to describe.

It a mix or hard work and fun while you learn experience. Since the course is managed by Union Ministry of Tourism, the labs and other facilities are of very good quality. The lecturers lay good emphasis on theoretical and practical exposure for holistic learnings

Written plus Interview Basis overall score of Written and Interview and location preference the College is allotted. The notification of admission is published in leading national dailies and also on the NCHMCT&AN website. Fill the form with pre-requisites and appear for the written exam. After successfully clearing the written, one will receive the interview call.

On a scale of 10, 9 will be a suitable ranking. The faculty was highly experienced and adopted for students from varied cultures and states of India. The experience here is to be cherished for a lifetime and relations built over. I am still in touch with many faculty members even after 15 years of passing out.
