Cost efficient MS in IT (DADV)

It is a good course. Yet, Teaching staff could be better with more specialized trending research faculty and Placement department could be better with person from management background heading it.

GRE/CSAT: conducted by MSIT Administration CHIL, IIIT Hyderabad. I scored around 116 marks. It has English, Math, Physics, Aptitude as Subjects.

Course is unique of its kind. Student will be focusing and learning a subject from basics to deep for a whole month. It is a learn by doing approach where in morning half day he/she will be learning and in afternoon they will be practicing i.e., on a project and last a demo.

No, MSIT students don't get any stipend from Govt/ college but, Yes, we have common shared placement cell for whole JNTU, Hyderabad. They call us for multiple company's internship offers ranging from 15K/month to 25K/month. I got placed in Campus placement process in initial stage and did my industrial oriented project in the same company for last 6 months. Its completely optional and up to us.

We have common shared placement cell for whole JNTU, Hyderabad. They call us for multiple company's offering 3 lakh to 10 lakh per year. I got placed in Campus placement process in initial stage and as rule states, if selected for one dream company (which is above 4 lakh/yr) could not attend any other. We got many service and product companies like TCS, Capgemini, Zoho, Teradata, Oracle, JPMC, local start ups, etc.

There are about 4-5 each year and one special and week long fest once in two years. We enjoy lot apart from academics by these events. Usually these 4-5 / year events does not have to be participated by whole college and could be organised by each department individually. From our department we organised 7 departmental level events and 3 coordinated whole college events in span of 2 years.

Our course is little expensive. As said 1 month training/testing (4th round of selection) costs you 20000 INR. And each academic year costs 1.4 lakh. We need to pay amount at once during beginning of academic year within a given 1 month time frame. But, they will be providing facility for loans.

No discrimination for any gender /religion /any. All people regardless of gender we could use gym, medical, basket ball court, football, volley ball, running track (2km total), any other facility if I forgot to mention. We are not much inclined to politics as observed in other colleges.

Boys hostel: Non-veg: 2600 to 2800 /month varies on food they serve. Veg is 300 less than Non-Veg eating people. Maintenance is little low so we need to adjust with it. Comparatively good and decent rent. It is limited and need to be booked/recommended by Dean of department in advance. These are 4 shared has lot of grounds to play sports and gym facility. If you stay outside it would cost 6000 for much smaller rooms. Girls: 500 less than Boy's hostel. More cleaner and hygiene.

Oh yes, our seniors are very helpful and does we for our juniors. We tend to form a bond where in to assist juniors to come up to pace and understand this unique curriculum and once graduated and in companies could refer our juniors if any posts available.

Each faculty/mentor deals a set of 8-12 students and will be teaching all subjects. Your are expected to score 80% to pass a subject. It has 1 technical subject + Soft skills for each mini semester.

There are 4 rounds. 1st round is written. 2nd round is at few centres across AP+ Telangana States combined: English verbal and listening. Followed by 3rd which is an interview. Last and not least, 4th is a period of training and testing you, which spans about 1 and half month. Where you will be given training on couple of subjects along with Soft skills and tested. If you are able to secure 80+%, You'll be in.

Faculty here are of different experience levels. All have minimum of Master/PG completed. Few will be visiting faculty who are from other top colleges or corporate world. Each faculty deals a set of 8-12 students and will be teaching all subjects. But one among is expertise in each subject and will be taking special classes when and then required.
