Remarks

No bad remarks. Totally a good environment a good faculty and good friends make it a perfect college for student to cope up easily and complete the course with ease

Entrance Preview

I took CET exam and got a rank of 16000.This was the best option to get in that college as i had to only pay the government fees. As the college was near to my native place and the records of the college were comparitively very good then the other colleges so it was the best option for me.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

As my course my Mechanical engineering i had to deal with design subjects. The curriculum was bit tough at the start but as days passed it becomes easy. Knowledge about the machines, its design it's construction and working is all that we get to learn .

Internships Opportunities

As per government rule for VTU(visveswaraya technological institutes) internship is a compulsory for the final year students. Many good companies like HCL, Cognizant, Mindtree, TCS came up to select students for both internship and for jobs. Stipend was on a range of 6000-12000.

Placement Experience

3

Placement is excellent almost 40% of the students population in the college were selected by various different companies like HCL, Cognizant, Mindtree, TCS. The maximum package was of 12 lakh per annum for my batch and various students got a package between 3- 6 lakh per annum. Placement and job opportunities are excellent.

College Events

3

There were many events and functions held out in our college. Every course that is electrical, Mechanical, computer science had there different way of celebration. There was also national level fest held every year where students across India participated in various different competitions.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is feasible as it's just the government fees that has to be paid as prescribed by government. The management fees was bit expensive. All other fees such as exam fee, the maintenance fees and the revaluation fees were feasible. The fees prescribed by government was 50,000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship was available but there was loan facility approved by government only for the minority group of students. Government used to give a loan of 30,000 to 40,000 per year for the minorities.

Campus Life

3.5

Compared to females males were more the ratio was approximately 1:3(Three male per female). We had both college parties and non official student parties. Sports was also encouraged and many students participated and even excelled. No politics at all in the college. Workshops and labs were all well mentained. There were many competitions held in the college and also college level. There was no race, sex of color discrimination at all.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel facility was actually not available in the campus but the college had it's a quarters type hostel outside the campus. The rooms were big enough and accommodate 3 students in one room. Rental was very feasible as it was divided between the three. It would cost around 1500 per month. Food was good and all the facilities were also good.

Alumni/Alumna

College seniors were very helpful and they were just like our close friends. Seniors helped out us in many ways they taught us if we had any doubt regarding the subject and even helped us in our projects.

Exam Structure

Exam were very strictly held and there were a total of two main semister exam in year and three internal exams held by the college. Chilling out as only after the exams but labs were fun and very practical had to work both physically and mentally though both exams and labs never left me out having a hectic day.

Admission

Admission process is very simple i just had to attend the councelling promoted by government as per my CET rank, fill up my desired college and get in through by paying the government fees and filling the admission form of the college. Also i had to opt for my desired course and fill up all my details asked in the admission form and join the college on the mentioned starting date.

Faculty

3

All of the faculty are highly qualified and also have a very good experience. They all were very helpful and showed great interest in making the student learn. They wanted there perfection in the course to be passed on to their students. Totally a worth faculty.

Placement Experience:

lacements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology Placements at MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology are decent overall, with stronger outcomes for CS-related branches and moderate but reliable opportunities for core branches like Chemical Engineering. ???? Placement Eligibility Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (final year). Some companies also allow pre-placement offers (PPOs) through internships after the 6th semester. ???? Companies Visiting the Campus ???? Common Recruiters (Across Branches) TCS Infosys Wipro Accenture Cognizant Capgemini IBM L&T Deloitte (limited roles) ???? Core / Chemical-Related Opportunities L&T Reliance (limited roles) Schneider Electric Saint-Gobain Some manufacturing, quality, and operations-based companies Core chemical companies visit in limited numbers, so many Chemical Engineering students also sit for IT, analytics, and operations roles. ???? Packages Offered (Approximate) ???? Salary Range Highest Package (overall): ~?40–50 LPA (off-campus / international offer, mostly CS) Highest for Core / Chemical roles: ~?8–10 LPA Average Package (overall): ?7–8 LPA Average for Chemical Engineering: ?4–6 LPA ???? Job Profiles Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET) Process / Quality Engineer Analyst / Consultant Software Engineer (for interested students) ???? Placement Percentage Overall placement rate: ~90–95% Chemical Engineering: ~60–70% Students with good CGPA, internships, and skills tend to get placed earlier and in better roles. ???? Employability & Skill Development The college provides: Placement training sessions Aptitude and soft-skill workshops Coding and interview preparation support However, students are expected to upskill on their own, especially for core industry roles or higher-paying profiles. ???? My Plans After Completing the Degree After completing my B.E. in Chemical Engineering, I plan to: Gain industry experience through campus placement or off-campus opportunities
