Remarks
The college is not much good about placement, faculty, events, competation and accodomation. These things still need improvement. These things are offered in other private institutions.
Entrance Preview
I scored 145 in NATA. I got this college in 1st round. It was my 5th preference. They give you admission on basis of your boards marks and your NATA marks. My boards percentage was 78.4%. They display the merit list by adding a persons boards marks and half of NATA marks.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is okay. They mostly teach what is written in books. There is less faculty in this college. A college's most important feature is its faculty but this college doesn't have much of it. They provide less time to clear doubts. They do not give much personal attention to the students.
Internships Opportunities
It does provide internship. We get to know about a lot of new things about architectural industries but that happens in almost every private college offering B.Arch course. So nothing special in internships.
Placement Experience
Almost 65% students gets placed in this college. The main reason people go to this college is that they expect that they would be working for L.S RAHEJA corp. But it does not happen to every student. 60% of the students placed in there company are fired within 3-4 months of their jobs. Placement is not that nice as there are only 2-3 major compainies giving oppurtunity to 1-3 sfudents.
College Events
Their is only one event in this college each year in which a person has to design some building of his her choice. It could be anything a bridge, a momument etc. And then he should make a 3-D model of it. It is a two day event. The people appearing in these events are not given any previlages during placement. Only the 1st rank is considered.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is not much. A person can afford it. It costs arround Rs 80,000 per year. There is extra hidden charges for researches and all. But overall it won't cost more than Rs 1,00,000 per year. But the problem is it is situated in Bandra. There are no chances of getting a hostel or P.G. As it does not have any hostel facility.
Fees and Financial Aid
They is no scholarship for any student. Its fees is less so there is no need for any loan. I do not know much about loan as nither I nor my friends opted for it.
Campus Life
There is 7:3 ratio of boys to girls. They campus is small. It only has one building. There are sports like cricket and football but they do not go to higher level. They do not have a pitch for criket and a ground for football. The students have competition once each year about amoung naerby colleges in sports. They only have one architecture competation each year.
Hostel Facilities
No hostel is available for boys amd girls. This is a main factor that most of the parents look for this children. A good campus with hostel is always better than a nearby college without hostel. Girls have a lot of problem in travelling and all. People travelling from Navi Mumbai get a lot tired in travelling itself.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an interaction between seniours and fressers. They are introduced in the first week. They tell us that we can ask for help to any seniour but they do not have free time to help us.
Exam Structure
They are pretty strict about exams. They do not allow any student to leave the exam hall in any situation. They have very very strict checking. Some of the students even fail in the exams due to strict checking. They conduct the supplimentary exams. The supplimentary exams are even tough than the semester exams. 80% of the people appearing in supplimentary exams even fail in the supplimentary exams.
Admission
When I got this college I booked a seat after two days. Its fees is not much. It will cost arround 80,000 per year. But it doesn't have any hostel accodomation. It is very difficult to travel to this college as there are no nearby hostels or PGs. Especially for girls. Few of my friends were so tired due to travelling only.
Faculty
The faculty are less in no. Only few teachers are good. They do not provide much time to clear doubts. They do not give personal attention to students. Students need personal attention for their development in social skills. Some students face difficulty in placements and internship due to less interaction between teacher and student.
