Remarks

College management is very cooperative and provides a 24*7 service for the students. There are different Departments for academic management administration etc.

Entrance Preview

I took EAMCET RANK 6244 MARKS 97. I had opted for this college on basis of its reputation of being the most prestigious engineering Institute in Andhra pradesh.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course which is B.E is divided into 4 years with 2 semesters in each year. The course is student friendly. In the 1st year there are 10 subjects including 2 practical examinations.

Internships Opportunities

For the previous 4th year batch. Companies like Oracle Wipro. Tata consultancy services and many such multi national companies came for the placements. Students also had an opportunity to get hold of government jobs like in TRANSCO.

Placement Experience

4

There was 100% placement through campus and 400 students were placed in 10 companies for the previous year batch. Companies like Oracle Wipro and TCS hired students for an average of 3.5-4 lakh per annum whereas the highest package offered was 6.5 lakh per annum.

College Events

3.5

The college holds an Annual Award function every year for awarding the previous year academic toppers. Freestyle presentation and technical fests take place in the month of January and February throughout which classes do not commence and all the students from 1st year to 4th year participate. Students from other colleges are invited and many events are organised for their enjoyment.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is very meagre with an amount of INR 10000 per year for students via EAMCET and rs 199000 for students who take admission on basis of NRI Quota.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is offered via the government of india which covers a full fee reimbursement and 3000 amount extra for student expenses.

Campus Life

3

Gender ratio is 1:1. the campus is completely free from gender religious or any other discrimination and students live very prosperously. Sports events are periodically organised by students such as intra college cricket tournaments and football tournaments.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostel provides a not so lavish living for students. Even though it is clean and hygienic but is very congested. Food is moderately good. With non veg being provided 3 days a week.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an alumni association in the college which organises events for providing students with enjoyment and they support financially poor students with education loans.

Exam Structure

The exams are conducted in the months of november and july. In each semester there are 6 theory exams and 2lab exams. The exam structure is very relaxing. With a gap of 3 days between every theory exam and 10 days gap before exams for preparation.

Faculty

4

The institution earned its name due to the hardwork of the faculty present in the college. There is head of Department for each subject who manages all the academic functioning and makes sure the students are given the proper information they need to know

Placement Experience:

From 4th sem itself students are eligible for placements. Although students get access to paid internships from their 1st year itself, just they need some effort. But as NIAT is yet new and no batch has passed out yet so we still don't have the exact placement percentage rate. But as we are getting paid internships from 1st year itself so it's very evident that placement would also be good

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
