Remarks

For eligibility, you should have passed 12th Grade with at least approximately 55% aggregate from the AMU board and I am not sure about the CBSE board. The application form can be found at www.amucontrollerexam.com and application dates are around February. Application fees are different for boys and girls. 50% of seats are reserved for students who pass out from the AMU board in class 12th. Some seats are for Children of alumni and children of AMU employees and some are for reserved castes. The admission process should be updated and reservations should become fewer.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course as AMU is really great for core branches. Many faculty members are Professors and have doctoral degrees and excellent research profiles. Teaching methods are directed toward government examinations and research interests. Marking is average here and a semester has 1 mid-term examination and an end-semester examination.

Placement Experience

AMU focuses on more research internships and higher studies from abroad. It is really very easy here to grab a scholarship for abroad studies. The average package is around 6 lakhs and the highest grabbed is around 14 lacks on campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

AMU in terms of fees is very genuine. It has a very minimal cost to study and approximately nil fees hike. Annual fees are 5560 and admission fees are around 17000. Innumerable scholarships are available which could be availed if eligible.

Campus Life

Campus life is not as amazing as cultural events are not frequent and are not on a big scale. AMU has Asia's largest library hence no question regarding books. Every extra-curricular activity is present on campus. Many clubs are active.

Students are eligible for placements from the 3rd year. The placement of the college is decent. The average package for tech branches stands at 4-5 LPA. Most of the offers are made from mass recruiters like TCS, cognizant, etc. However, product-based companies also visit the campus but very few students get short-listed for them. The highest package for the 2025 batch was around 22 lakhs from JP morgan in which 2 students got placed. Microsoft also offered a package of 18 LPA. The placement percentage is around 50-60%. If you maintain 8+ CGPA and have the fundamentals clear then you can definitely secure a decent package from this college. The placement department of the college is supportive.
