Remarks

You have to give the MHCET Law Entrance Exam to get admission in GLC. The application for the exam is released on the official website of the CET Cell. The application fee is 800, and the application is released around 4-5 months before the exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

I chose Law as a career because I am interested in UPSC, and law is a good background to have for preparing for UPSC. There are around 240 students in a batch and around 60 students in each class. There is 1 teacher for around every 40 students. The faculty are highly educated and are eminent personalities in the legal fraternity. Some professors are senior advocates and counsels in the Bombay high court as well. The exams happen every 6 months and they are moderately difficult.

Internships Opportunities

4

There are 2 placement weeks, in February and in September. The one in February is for the position of short term interns, long-term interns, and paralegals. The one in September is for Associates. Again all thr top tier law firms come to glc for providing internship opportunities and thereby converting them into Associates if they like their work. The tasks in an internship are generally researching and drafting.

Placement Experience

4

The placement opportunities in GLC are great. Top-tier law firms come to GLC for placements and internships. The highest package goes to 20 LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA. There are 2 placement weeks in GLC, one in February and another one in September. If one doesn't get any placements through the placement weeks, one can apply to the firms individually and they can be placed depending upon their experience and grades.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of GLC are extremely less as compared to other colleges of law. The whole course in GLC costs around Rs. 30,000-40,000 in terms of tuition fees, whereas other colleges' year fees are more than that. The fees for reserved categories and EWS is even lesser. There are placement and internship opportunities in college as well, where a good stipend is provided.

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life in GLC is moderately happening. It's not as happening as other private colleges might be. There are various committees and societies in college which help in the overall development of one's personality. The library of GLC is also very huge. There are around 30,000 books in it. The classrooms are well-equipped and have good lighting and ventilation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course 8/10 aa course is highly good for me and i chose this field because of the respect it have our curriculum is good only as first 2 years we have BLS subjects then we have law subjects after that. As it is an integrated course it surely serves the purpose and makes you ready for real-life field only but as we have 75-25 pattern it gets hard to write that much in the examination in that much hour also we have to prepare for internals alot then assignment costs alot of time and make the whole study schedule hectic
