Remarks
To be eligible for Computer engineering... You need to score a good percentile in the MHTCET exam...which is the state entrance examination conducted every year to take admission into engineering colleges. The CAP rounds start just after the exams, and you can apply online as well as offline Nominal fees I was an NT-D category student, so I had to pay 20000 as total fees, and then apply for the tuition fees scheme The admission process is smooth, and the staff too is very cooperative
Course Curriculum Overview
The syllabus and curriculum are the same put up by Mumbai University. One can easily pass the exams with hard work and proper guidance. The faculty is really good, all teachers are experienced and guide for all things. Most of the professors are Drs or have some higher qualifications. We have different professors for every subject. Exams are taken according to the schedule put up by Mumbai University... And they are taken accordingly
Placement Experience
Placements are very average, most of the students get placed in normal companies, and avg package is about 3.5LPA, which is pretty low in today's era. The placement cell works actively for the student's placement
Fees and Financial Aid
For me the fees were 20000, whereas the overall fee is almost 150000 in the open category, You can apply for scholarships provided by the government of Maharashtra. If you are in some caste, then you should have all the necessary documents to avail of the same, and apply for the schemes accordingly
Campus Life
No extracurricular activities, we had huge turfs, and grounds to play on, but need permission to step on one. There are various committees like the NSS, too, and all, which are fun to join And one can learn a lot from these clubs/groups Campus is awful
