Remarks
Any graduate can pursue this course, the entrance exam accepted by this college is CAT. Reservations detailed can be availed at the website. After CAT you need to fill up the college application, they will shortlist you after the result. SOP discussion, Extempore, and Personal Interview follow the shortlist.
Course Curriculum Overview
We have a semester system unlike the trimester system at most B schools, the first 2 semesters have compulsory subjects, and electives are allowed to be chosen from 3rd semester. The faculty here are the best that any B School can get, we have teachers who have taught at all old IIMs,
Internships Opportunities
Most of the Top Notch companies( Check Placement Report available publicly ) that come to any B School come to FMS as well, however, some finance companies don't come for internships but offer roles at old IIMs. We have societies for projects FSC is for internal projects and Stratlabs gives you live paid projects.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are some central scholarships to be availed but you will not be needing that since the total fee for two years are Rs.192000 only which you can easily repay with your internship money. However, you will have your living expenses to account for and can go for a loan from the Delhi University Bank Branches.
Campus Life
The whole FMS is run by students, we have clubs and societies for almost everything possible, you can get the full list of the clubs and societies from the website. Apart from this, we have the DU infrastructure in place for all sports, the classes are a bit large but the excellent teaching faculties compensate for it. Apart from it, you can attend any Delhi University College fests and festivals that go around all year and the city has so much to give, Delhi gives you the kind of party vibes very few cities can match. You also have the DU library which can also be accessed in e-form through your email login.
Interview Experience
FMS Delhi didn't take GD for our Batch ( 22-24 ), instead, they take extempore which is general abstract to CV-specific topic driven. FMS also is one of the few B Schools which makes you write a Statement of Purpose. After Shortlist you will have to come physically for the interview which will first start with extempore followed by an SOP discussion and then finally an interview.
