Qualification needed-Good rank in jee advance (after qualifying for jee mains) Candidates can apply online through NTA sites (National Testing Agency) Application fees are 1000(may vary over years) for jee mains and 1500(may vary over years) for jee advance. Reservation benefits-There are reserved seats for obc ncl and Sc/st candidate that helps a lot to get these colleges in low rank. Also, SC/ST candidates have to pay only hostel charges and no tuition fees. The application process is quite good for these masterpiece colleges(IITs) only server problem comes which can be improved.

I have chosen this course because I wanted to work in the chemical industry with well-experienced people and I want to contribute good things to my country. In my opinion, chemical engineering has vast diversity and is mostly involved in our day-to-day life. About faculties- There are 52 students in our class and we have separate faculties for each subject. There are almost 8-10 faculties. Faculties are very friendly and supportive. They are like friends. Their way of teaching is also good. There are two major exams in a semester of 4 months Each at a gap of 1.5 months. And there are quizzes which are being held at a gap of 20 days. Passing a semester is quite easy. If one is good and sincere then they can pass just with class notes.

Companies like google Microsoft adobe Facebook all come and provide jobs in software development. Core companies like Schlumberger provide opportunities to work in the industry in the field of chemicals. Many startups also come with great projects of research and development.

The placement is very good here. Almost 150 companies come every year and provide huge chances. Students are eligible for placement after the 7th semester and the person with the pre-placement offer can complete the course by 7 semesters only and can leave if he wishes. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Facebook, Schlumberger come and pay for good packages. Almost 80-90? students get placed and many opt for higher studies. My plan is to work with experienced people in any of the industries in which I am getting selected.

fee policy -if income greater than 6laks then 1.3 lakhs per annum and if less than one can get a scholarship. If income is less than 1 lakh then one has to pay only hostel charges and mess fee, not tution fees. Scholarship Names-IS MANNA, Merit Cum scholarship, Fee waiver for low-income families. I got an Mcm scholarship 10000 last year. Some of my friends received a full fee waiver (tuition fee zero). courses are affordable.

Srijan is the annual fest of IIT Dhanbad held in February. And tech fest Concetto is held in October. There are many more fests like khana by geo-mining branches. Books are easily available and the quality of the library is very good. One of the best libraries I have ever seen. the classroom is nice with normal as well as the smart board. Sports facilities and extra activities are also good. A gym facility is also available. Annual sports day is also held for us. Cash prizes are also for the winners. many clubs are there like dance clubs. Sports club, music, robotics, cyber lab etc.

The hostel facilities are good. We have a decent size room. We have geysers also available in the bathroom in working conditions. In case of a problem, we can complain online and someone comes to fix it. Mess food is also decent with a balanced diet. Almost every day some non-veg item is served and paneer is also for vegetarians. Sweets are also served for almost 3 days. The locality is also decent but their charges are high.
