Fees and Financial Aid:

We have an yearly annual fee of 2,20,000,our college gives tuition fee waiver for the reserved candidates and it provides us with many placements and internship oppurtunities than any other local colleges near our home. It offers us sense of individuality living in such a diverse college where students from every part of India come to our college to study and it offers all the national and regional scholarship schemes where even the weak can expel in studies if they work hard. It is never a joke coming to an IIT and playing after all. That's it I guess.

Btech 1st year is broken down into two semester: 1st semester: 149850 rupees (tuition fees) + 18000 rupees (mess fees) + 8400 rupees (other semester charges) = 176250 rupees 2nd semester: 126400 rupees (tuition fees) + 18000 rupees (mess fees) + 8400 rupees = 152800 rupees Annual charges: 10050 Net fees (1st year): 338100 rupees only???? and then, Btech 2nd year: 3rd semester: 136450 rupees + other charges 4th semester: 126400 rupees + other charges annual charges: 10050 rupees so, net fees: 325700 rupees and it keeps repeating till 8th semester, making the entire cost of Btech in IIT ISM for a general/OBC cat. student to be around 13Lakhs Some fees are mentioned separately below: Tuition fees (per semester) = 1Lakh (for general/OBC/EWS) Caution fees: 5000 rupees (one time charge) Registration fees: 200 rupees (per semester) Admission fees: 40000 rupees (taken while opting University in JoSAA) Development fees: 2000 rupees (one time charge) Lab fees: not mentioned Other compulsory charges: ~ 2000 rupees The fee structure has one significant difference for SC/ST/PWD cat. students i.e. no tuition fees and no hostel & mess fee would be charged to them, but other fees would be applicable to them as well. Students with family income more than 6 Lakhs have to pay the entire tuition fees + hostel and mess charges (=36000+26000 anually) Students with family income less than 6 Lakhs and more than 1 Lakh have pay only 33000 rupees as tuition fees + hostel and mess charges (=52000 anually) The types of scholarships that students can avail are: MCM (merit cum means) Scholarship: If you do good in academics and have a CGPA above certain number then you would be given 10000 rupees annually. NSP (National Scholarship Portal): Provides various scholarship schemes to students from various backgrounds and can avail these scholarships by verifying necessary documents via DSW and then through NSP verification officers.

The year wise fees I will be paying is 1,54,850 with hostel fees. I don't get any category fees. my batchmates are also oc so they also pay total fees which I mentioned above. I have applied for few scholarships but they are still in progress.

IIT ISM Dhanbad - A college journey

The annual fees (for both semester) including hostel and all charges is Rs. 2,50,000 The reserved category students gets scholarship based on their merit wherein their tuition fees is removed. They have to pay only for hostel which is around Rs. 25000. General category students have no scholarship

As this is a government institute the tution fee hike isn't regular and the fees remains consistent for many years. The total cost of my 4 year degree will be around ?1250000. Only if your family income is less than 5 lakhs are you eligible for a scholarship by the institute, in all other cases you're not eligible for a scholarship.

Dislikes

Manufacturing process subject has its written exam which i think is of no use as it is a practical subject.
Curriculum is what I don't like here. Markings in some subjects are also not good and professors are very reluctant.

For General category student , tution feess is 1 lakhs rs/semester . There are fee waivers for SC/ST category students and PwD students . Their 100% tution fees is waived. There are also fee waiver as per family income. Family income < 5 lakhs per year will get their 2/3rd fee waived and that < 1 lakh per year will get their 100% tution fee waived. College also provides merit-cum-scholarships.

The fees of the college are 250000 rupees per year. there is a scholarship program of the college named the mean cum (mcm) merit scholarship in which all merit holders of the college can get the scholarship.

fee policy -if income greater than 6laks then 1.3 lakhs per annum and if less than one can get a scholarship. If income is less than 1 lakh then one has to pay only hostel charges and mess fee, not tution fees. Scholarship Names-IS MANNA, Merit Cum scholarship, Fee waiver for low-income families. I got an Mcm scholarship 10000 last year. Some of my friends received a full fee waiver (tuition fee zero). courses are affordable.

JEE MAINS TO BTECH IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING at IIT-ISM DHANBAD

Fees are like Rs 1,07,100 for the winter semester (Jan-may) and Rs 1,10,700 for the monsoon semester(aug-nov) for BTech in chemical engineering in IIT-ISM DHANBAD for the general category for sc/st category tuition fee is waived off i.e, Rs 1,00,000 per semester so the fees of sc/st students would be Rs 7100 for the winter semester and Rs10,700 for monsoon semester. For the general category whose family income is less than 6lpa would be beneficial with mcm scholarship i.e, they will be avail a discount on tuition fees.
