It's all about skill development

Speaking frankly, college administration supported me a lot during my placements. This is a rare one if you observe.

I took MAT entrance and scored 93% in it. I like the way my college has positioned itself. We rarely see MBA in such different streams. This attracted me towards the college.

I am presently working in research industry. The college has supported me to enhance my research skills. The course curriculum always had 60% of theory/ class and rest were up to us. We had to study, search and get the data in order to compete the course. We also did various research projects and college provided various platforms like agro supply chain conference to showcase our projects.

Yes. Internship is compulsory part of our curriculum. Stipend depends on the student's skills. For example, I got into a paid one in Panalpina and few other friends didn't get paid. Some got even higher stipends in Nestle. Typically it ranges from 6k to 20k.

College has 100% placements. Again, it depends on students to get into a good one. College will provide a wonderful platform for skill development. We have to utilize it to our best. We had placement drives started in October itself. We had both options of attending on campus and off campus.

Our college hosts number of events. As a university if you see, there will be some thing or the other going on each day. Bigger events like ignite, logistikas and also cultural events like urja are annual things. Apart from them there were monthly and sometimes weekly conferences and presentations.

I feel the fee is reasonable when compared to others. However to families like mine and to invest on a girl child, people would think twice. I had to take a loan though. College gives considerate amount of time to pay the fee failing which a minimal fine is charged. With the right reasons, the administration accepts the late fee.

Banks will definitely agree to give loan based on the offer letter. Scholarship will be awarded to the first two rankers every year. Apart from that, loans from banks can be taken and we can work as teaching assistant in order to get extra income but we have to work hard to get that post. There would be limited positions.

Gender ratio for post graduation itself is bit unequal. When one takes such challenging courses, there will be little ups and downs. College doesn't show bias and has strict policies against the ones who break them. Coming to extra curricular activities, yes we had fun. What can you say, Dehradun is a hill station after all. You are in the lap of nature.

I can't comment on this as I stayed outside. As heard from friends, the hostel is super cool. It has both ac and non AC accommodation. Food was health concious and tasty. I stayed only for 20days though. Hostel fee was around 1 lakh per year. I took a PG outside with 70,000 per year.

Our seniors are placed in prestigious companies. We gain their insights from our Common groups and alumni meets.

Exams of course were not chilled out. We worked hard to get good numbers. There were assignments going in parallel. The point is one will never get bored or feel hectic as the curriculum is very interesting. We had case studies which were very interesting. Analyzing companies or concepts was always a fun. We even had presentations for our internals in place of boring pen and paper exams.

After initial screening based on my percentile in MAT, I was called for GDPI round. I still remember my GD topic. It was "why women can be better managers". After cracking it, a personal interview was scheduled. Initially they asked me about my interests and based on that we had a discussion about how can I be a good fit for logistics and supply chain management. After that, i landed up getting the seat.

We had industry experts as our faculty. To name a few, Mr. Loveraj Takru, Mr. Neeraj Anand, Mr. Balaram Swamy all of them were experienced and had unique methods of teaching. We enjoyed and gained a lot. I still look up to them if I am stuck. I am sure they must have some solution for me.
