Entrance Preview

College takes an entrance exam every year and students need to give that and score very well. Students performing well in these entrances only get chance to get an admission offer from the college. The process of getting admission in the college is very simple but due to the high competition, it gets difficult to get admission. The management is very helpful in updating us with the relevant information.

College Events

The college has a lot of clubs and societies and all are managed by the student's body elected every year by the students themselves. We get to be a part of lots of talks and speeches by the best speakers and we are given the liberty to attend to as many events and talks as per our needs. One of the talks inspired me to startup my own venture during the college. It gets very difficult to track so many events sometimes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The university is quite expensive. But it does not give up on offering quality education in favor of money itself. The college offers a lot of financial aid to all its students and a lot of fees waiver is done by the college so that the students can join the programme without worrying about the fees. There are a lot of students here in the college who have been offered 100% scholarship and a lot of them are there with more than 50% of fees waived.

Campus Life

Even though the college is in the outskirts of the city, the college has provided appropriate transportation facilities to all its students so that they do not have any transportation problem. All this is of free of cost. The shuttle service will drop the students to the nearest transportation spot and you can find a lot of buses for your travel purpose. Other than this, the college has a lot of food joints available nearby the campus.

Faculty

The faculty of the college are simply amazing and very friendly. They have been hired by the college from various parts of the world and a lot of them are alumni of the best reputed colleges like harvard and oxford universities. Apart from that, the students feedback is taken seriously by the management/administration. Visiting faculties are also from the prestigious universities and are very well qualified.

Worth considering for your tech career

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like that the course doesn't feel outdated. Along with the regular subjects we spend a lot of time on coding, projects, and problem solving so it feels connected to what companies actually expect. As a second year student i already feel like i am building skills that i will be able to use during internships and placements and not just preparing for semester exams

Building Skills Beyond the Classroom

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Remembering College Valuble Insights Feels so memorable being a final year student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals,meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

Only 4-1 students are eligible for campus placements Name of companies are infosys, concentrix, foundever, teleperfomance, Sutherland,uts etc in that only few members got opportunity to join in that companies. Highest package is 3-4lakhs All the companies which were came to our clg placements are based on call center types only infosys is IT side remaining all companies came us to take for the roles bpo industry voice based roles and non voice based roles My plans after completing the degree to search for the job

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start from final year. A few core companies and bulk hiring companies visit with average packages , overall placement percentage is average . So I plan to build more skills and purse better opportunities after graduation

Honest review on KMIT

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell is least active.. Few good companies like Infosys, amazon, TCS etc visited but the average package is of 1-2 LPA and only 25-30% of students whose all exams are cleared can sit in the placement cell. The highest package is of 8LPA. My plan is to move abroad for higher studies.. The students after completion of 6th sem can sit in placement cell

Nice college but lot of improvements are required

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams

Placement Experience:

Campus placements do exist , and it really depends on the person not much on gpa the highest was 40lakhs per annum one time , the lowest was 3lakhs , it really varies time to time but nowadays with advancment in AI and more competition placements aren't really guaranteed

A life of an Average Indian Student in University

I have applied to many colleges few of them are Vellore Institution of Technology (VIT), Woxsen University, Manipal University, KL University. I have applied for BTech in All these Universities. But at last moment i decided to flip my course and pursue Food Sciences and Technology so i had to let go all the opportunities in the university. I did apply for Mahindra University for BBA but u got rejected in the Personal Interview round. I got into GITAM througu their Entrance Test. I have got a scholarship of 40% in their entrence test. There are various eligibility criteria for GITAM. The main criteria would be you have to score above 60% in your Intermediate. This Universities accepts students through their own entrence test, AP and TS Eamcet, Intermediate Marks, JEE test series, NEET, etc. The most prefered exam by all the students to get into the university is the Universities Entrence test.
