Remarks

The admission process was very smooth. I applied for the Jee Mains for the April session and secured a decent score to get into this college. To get this college, If your performance is average throughout the preparation time, you can get into this college easily. Eligibility to get here admission is your board percentage should be greater than 75% or you should fall under the top 20 percentile in your respective board. your rank should be under 65-70K to get into this college if you are general. You can find the application form on the NTA site or you can use the following website jeemain.nic.ac.in The form is released twice a year ( once in December and once in march tentatively ). The overall admission process is really awesome.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

What I actually love here is the bonding between students and faculty members. All the professors here are really student-friendly and always want to help us. The course curriculum is well structured and with the help of a professor, it becomes much more easier for us to handle. I really like the Instrumentation branch so I chose this. The student-to-faculty ratio is nearly 8:1. All the proffesors here is well qualified and have unique teaching styles. All exams are held on time according to the academic calendar provided by the college.

Internships Opportunities

2.5

Very less Internship opportunities are available here. The companies which come for campus placement give internship opportunities. Very less students get on-campus internships so most of the students try for off-campus internships. Currently, I am working on a DBMS project where we are making a clone of the JOSAA Database.

Placement Experience

3.5

To be honest, The placement here is not up to the mark. If you prepare well for placement then you can get it. Most IT sector companies visit here and very less core companies. This year the highest package offered is 29 lakhs by Thoughtspot. The companies visited here is Deloitte, Infosys, TCS, Pi-Info, Thoughtspot, etc. Nearly 50-60% of students get placed every year and the average CTC offered here is 8 LPA. I want to pursue M.tech from any top IIT and for that currently, I am preparing for the GATE examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

For every year, the total tuition fee is 125000/-, and we have to pay this fee semester-wise. for the even semester 62500/- and for the odd semester 62500/-. if you are sc/st/PWD candidate then your full tuition fee will be reimbursed. if you are general and your income is below 1 lakh then also your full tuition fee will be reimbursed and if your income is between 1-5 lakhs then your 2/3rd tuition fee will be reimbursed ( you just need to pay nearly 42000/ per year). The student who is serious regarding placement definitely gets a job.

Campus Life

4

The view from the campus hostel to the outside is eye-sightening. There are many clubs where students can improve their overall personalities. There is one tech fest celebrated every year named Ekarikthin (The biggest techno-cultural fest of Nagaland) and mostly it is celebrated in the month of May one cultural fest is celebrated named Euphonic. There is a central library that consists of 1400+ e-books and one can find every type of book related to academics. The classroom is well neat and clean and it is very spacious. Our campus has every type of ground where students can exercise cricket, volleyball, badminton, chess, etc.

Look in CSE only service-based companies generally come but if you have skill then you can go for off-campus till 2021 college placements were pretty average but now it's below average this year itself highest till now is 10 LPA (2025 batch passout) For other branches core companies will come and they will pay you from 6lpa to 10 lpa . Highest for 2025(7th sem ) 10lpa Lowest for 2025(7th sem ) 4 lpa Average is around 6 to 7 lpa I hope in the 8th sem more companies will come and offer better pay

Course Curriculum Overview:

After learning about all the different courses I thought of going for soil science as it is the basis of all the other agricultural sciences. Practical classes exposes us to various real world experiences. The only area where our college can improve is providing better facilities for practicals. The frequency is timing of exams is very comfortable.
