Remarks

MH-CET is the Entrance exam to qualify. Cut off vary according to category. Reservation is available according to government policies. The admission process is conducted by the education system of the Maharashtra government and cet cell.

Course Curriculum Overview

Teaching is good. All faculty is well educated and mainly completed Ph.D. Computer Science and Engineering are in demand due to IT sector growth. Teaching includes both practical as well as theoretical knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

The college has typed with some companies. So, online internships can be done by students. Projects are compulsory to do in pre finale and final year of college. Faculty help throughout the process and done in a team.

In the 3rd or final year, only students are Eligible for placement. Many companies visit campus and hire young talent. Placements coordinated very well. The base package is 3,00,000 LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed through Campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

All the scholarships are available and are provided by the government. Mainly the fees are very affordable. Some special scholarships are also given by trust. It is First Jain minority college. So, overall worth.

Campus Life

The college infrastructure is not that fascinating. Mainly, the College focuses on studies and academic curriculum. So, other things are neglected. Hostels are not on College campuses. The library and other facilities are there.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
