The eligibility criteria for this college is to complete your higher secondary education (12th) with a minimum of 60%. The admission process is very simple, you have to register yourself on your college's official website and fill out the application form. Application fees for state board students are 300 and for CBSE/Icse are 800.

This college is one of the best colleges in Dhanbad for especially commerce students. That's the main reason I choose this college for b.com. The teachers are very nice, their behavior is good towards students. They teach very politely. The exams were taken timely. Exam papers are not so difficult to pass.

There are many programs are held in our college. Like exhibition. Dance competition, singing competition. Classical dance. Different types of Sports competitions. The College library is good if you need any books from their teachers are give you books very easily.

I choose Bcom because I have interest in the accounting sector , it helps me in the real life , currently I am working in the accounting sector . A focused and affordable education hub

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum of guru nanak College dhanbad is quite good and revelant as per the university pattern .it covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps in understanding the subject deeply .the syallabus is updated time to time according to latest trends, which makes it useful for higher studies and competitive exam also. The subject are arranged in a proper way semester wise so students don't feel much pressure .exam are held regularly,mostly at the end of each semester and internal tests are also taken for practice.the difficult level of exams is moderate,not very hard if you study regularly

Placement Experience:

Students from semester 3 are eligible to sit for campus placement. There are even some companies which ask for fresher where student of any semester can apply. The specialised course like CA CS MBA has more placement opportunities. Many companies visits like GARNIER, TCS, GOVERMENT COMPANY _JHALSA. recently around 20 Students are selected in TCS with pacakage of INR 3Lakhs . There is no percentage requirements. Every particular can sit for campus placements. It depends on their skill and ability to impress the interviewers so that they can be placed. Basically there is Group discussion(GD) round and personal interview (PI)round which after qualifying one can get placed in the companies.

A Modest College Life , Learning & Limitations

Placement Experience:

This College provides campus placement, but only a few companies come, only 2 or 3. From the 5th or 6th semester, students are eligible for the campus placement. The average package of my college is 3.57 LPA & the highest is 7 LPA. My plan is to appear for banking after completion of my degree.

Pros and cons of my college
