Likes

Sports opportunities are very amazing. Also very less competition.
Faculties are very good and also supportive and easy to communicate.
Fees is pocket friendly compared to other colleges in delhi or any other places.

Dislikes

No placement offered. Student have to go for off campus placements.
Lab computers are very slow and old. Some of them are not working properly.
BCA is offered in another campus of Guru Nanak College. Our main campus is far from the BCA department.

Course Curriculum Overview

I joined this course because of market demand and also have interest in computers. Faculty: Student = 60:7 Supportive faculty also councelling about our future. Most of the teacher uses projector and smart classes. Exam is easy compared to Btech CSE. 4-5 years previous year question papers are provided. If you only study the pyq then you can get upto 7.0 sgpa in exams.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is 15000 per semester. E-KALYAN scholarship is provided to whose who have - residential certificate of jharkhand, EWS certificate and belongs to obc/st/sc. They will get around 42000 per year in their bank account.

Campus Life

They provide IIT BOMBAY SPOKEN TUTORIAL PROGRAM. Library is also available. Excellent opportunity for sports person. More than 30 sports are available to participate in inter college tournaments. There is very less competition. So you will easily get into University team and go for East Zone Inter-Unvirsity Tournaments.

Admission

Addmission based on 12th percentage Cut off in 1st round- around 72% Cut off in last round- 42% to 50% Eligibility- passed 10+2 examinations or Intermediate or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate in any discipline (Arts/Commerce/Science) with mathematics/Business Mathematics/Computer Science/Information Practices(I.P.)/Information technology (IT)/Statistics as one of the subjects. Application form,fees and dates are available on BBMKU website and Chancellor Portal website Reservation Benefits- You can get E-kalyan scholarship if you have residence certificate of jharkhand, EWS certificate, and belongs to obc/st/sc. You get more than 100% of your fees in your bank account. Remarks- Best college for pursuing BCA in Dhanbad only.

Placement Experience:

Placements are okish. No well reputed company come for placements, some of small companies and startup company comes. Avg placement package is between 3-4LPA. Collage placement ratio is 25-30% and other goes for off campus placements.

Sarala Birla University is a nice choice for UG courses

Placement Experience:

When I went to college's orientation program, they showed a data in which more than 90% students placed last year. I don't know the exact but there were only few students last year but from our batch, the number of students increased hugely. So, I guess there will be an decline in placement ratio. According to college and some seniors, some big companies visited in college and they hire meritious students. Average package is around 6L which is decent.

Pros and cons of my college

The eligibility of the course is you need 60% and the above for this course and according to the highest cut off they will select you and you will get the seat according to that and you habe to find the application form in college reception amd you will also get every details in receiption counter about the fee structure and the dates you can also check the notice board also Talking about the improvement: So there is a no such improvement i can see but everything is mostly available in offline you have to be attentive every time so they can provide website so this will be convenient for everyone they will get updates through online....Read More
