Remarks

I have passed a Common Entrance Test to take admission to college. The minimum cut-off to take admission in core branches was 60 marks. Reservation are available for SC and ST category students and also free ship available for NT students.

Course Curriculum Overview

This college has good placements and experienced faculties for core branches hence I choose Mechanical Engineering in this college. There were 99 students in each section such as 3 sections in this college. Most of the teachers are PhD holders and they had much knowledge about the subjects. The term exams were held after a month and exams had a moderate level.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are provided in the college itself also by the robot club and auto club for third-year students and most of the students did their internships in yahama motors, and Indian railways. We can learn industrial knowledge during internships

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for the campus from the seventh semester. The companies visited in the core sector are Triveni Turbines, Manas Agro Industries, Bosch, Mecgale pneumatics, and Antony waste. The highest package was up to 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA. 30% of students get placements during the Covid period. I got placed in a power plant and I m working there.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is different for all branches fees for OBC students in the core branch is 35k per year and for open students, it is up to 80k per year. I take admitted through the TFWS scheme and I got placed in a Thermal power plant with an average stipend of 2.5 lakh/yr.

Campus Life

There are many social clubs in these colleges such as MESA a group of departmental students, Rotaract Club a social organization, Nation Service Scheme a group of all branches students also some co-curriculum activities groups such as Auto club for Mechanical branch students. All clubs are run by students themselves.

Hostel Facilities

In the hostel room, a bed is provided by them and drinking water, usable water, and hot water for the bath are also provided at the hostel. The quality of meals was good and different menus were served each day. Breakfast lunch and dinner are provided by them. The hostel was 500 away from the college and in a residential area itself.

After 3rd year students are eligible to apply for on campus internships and in 4th year 6 month internship is compulsory. Talking about placements generally 3rd or 4th year students can apply for on campus placements.
