Entrance Preview

In Telangana state, every B.Tech College takes admissions through EAMCET exam. I have written EAMCET after 10+2 and scored 48 out of 160. 40 is the minimum score to qualify. Students qualified in EAMCET will have counselling process according to their ranks given in the exam.Verification of certificates will be done during counselling. Later you have to select colleges which you want to join. They inform you allotted college details with sms. I have chosen Malla Reddy because of placements.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I have chose CSE stream in B.Tech. There are seven semisters in total during four years of study. In first year only one semister and there are 7 subjects and 4 labs. From second year there are two semisters for every year and 6 subjects with 2 labs. Only the last semister is different as you have major project. Coming to our faculty, All are average except our HOD. HOD is very efficient and manages the things perfectly.

Internships Opportunities

In our college they doesn't provide internships. We have to do on our own. But we have lot of opportunities in Hyderabad city.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placements generally starts in fourth year first sem. But our college is one of the college in Malla Reddy group. There are seven colleges in Malla Reddy group in Maisammaguda with three campuses. So if any placements come all the students of malla reddy group participates in it. This is the major disadvantage. From our college last year 70 were selected in placements. The average package is 2.7 LPA. Companies that come to placements are Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, IBM, Prolifics,ADP, CDK global, Knoah, Infosys,Accenture etc.

College Events

3

Every year we have technical fests and traditional day and international conference also. In technical fest there are many activities for every stream. The common activities are paper and poster presentations, code mortem, etc. Every year we have a traditional day and also annual day. Our college also conducts International Conference in which delegates from different countries are invented.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There are different fee structures for each college based on their infrastructure and facilities. My college fee is Rs.35000/- per year for convener quota students. And management seats have different fee. If you eligible for fee reimbursement this fee will be paid by government. Admission fee is Rs.7000. And the university fee is Rs.2500 per year. If you have any training classes then extra there will be an extra fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

Government provides scholarship to backward classes. College doesn't provide any scholarship or loan facility. There are some private scholarships for poor background students. Sushrutha Cancer Hospital provides a Rs.10000 scholarship for eligible students. To this students have to apply on their own.

Campus Life

4

College has more boys than girls but it is very slight. Most of the classes have almost equal ratio but only in some classes there is an appearing difference. College conducts workshops on various technology development programs. There is no discrimination in any of the aspects. Peaceful environment and nice atmosphere to study.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The college hostel has a limited capacity. But there are many private hostels in that area as there are number of colleges. So i stayed in one of those private hostels. The monthly fee is Rs.3000. They also provide WiFi facility. The rooms are good and fo

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful during placements and for further studies in abroad. We can contact them with any of them through facebook or on phone. College provides the contact details of the alumni.

Exam Structure

In first year we have three mid exams and one final exam. The mid exams comes for every two months of gap. These are very easy as they are one exam per day. Previously there were two exams in a day. Lab internal exams are also conducted along with mid exa
