Remarks
The admission process was easy. You can get admission through jee or MHT CET. Usually, the cut-off for CS is above 90%ile. I got admission through CET in cap round 1. There are reservation benefits. According to the college staff, they said me that there is no management quota available here. So all the admissions are made only through the Cap rounds. But the major problem in the college is the network. You would struggle to the network. For paying fees we need to go away from the college Just because the internet doesn't work inside.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took Computer engineering because I had an interest in it. The college staff is good. Most of the teachers are pursuing Ph.D. Teachers are helpful. There are about 70 students in a class. Each class is divided into three groups, each group has one parent-teacher. So whatever problems you face you can discuss them with your parent-teachers. Teaching is good, teachers teach with the help of a projector and at the end of the chapter they share the pdf.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the college. You would be eligible for internships from the third year. Internships are quite good. I think it is compulsory for CS. It is better than any other college of the same level like aims and pes modern. The T and P cell is also good.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite good. Last year the highest package was 12L offered by amazon. An average placement was 4 - 4.5 L, About 450 companies visited last year. Till now the highest package is 32 L which was offered 4 years ago and maybe it would be off campus. The placement percentage is good for CS. You will get a decent placement in CS. But not that good in other branches.
Fees and Financial Aid
There are a few scholarships like the EBC scholarship in which you get a 45% fee concession. For girls, the persistent foundation provides a 40k per year scholarship. The college staff helps with scholarships. The college is well and affordable at this fee.
Campus Life
The college campus consists of 5 colleges and one of them is MESCOE. COE has a single 5-floor building. The building is clean and well-maintained. Infrastructure is quite good. Classrooms are ventilated but still in summers, you would feel like it's too hot inside the class. Each class has a Blackboard,a whiteboard, and a projector. The Library is big with all books available which you will need. There are many reference books. The college conducts an annual fest called Jhankaar. There are clubs like robot club, google developers club, and nakshatra club for astronomy. I don't know about sports activities because I am in FE, maybe it would be from the second year.
