Remarks

Eligibility of the course is to pass 12th. If u have passed the 12th examination with about 88 percentage of mark then your chance for getting admission is very high. To get the application form you need to entee kerala university site and apply for admission and give 1st preference to Iqbal college and opt for your favourite subject. The application fee is just Rs 200 and the dates will be available in the Kerala University Website. The admission process will ne fast and its actually good.

I choose this course because i liked mathematics a lot. And the college because the quality of teaching in this college especially for science streams is very good. The faculty for students is great. There are well maintained class rooms for different year batches. The toilet facilities foe both men and women is good. The labs are well equipped also. It gives a nice ambience for studies. The exams are conducted by the University of Kerala. The examintion are conducted correctly and legibly and if we can put effort in our stidies then we can surely pass the examination.

Class Size: 46Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

For general category and students with parent in public sector there is no scholarship. They need to pay the fees about 20000 for the course for 3 years. But for other backward caste and students with annual income low they have scholarship called egrant and they can apply for it and they doesnt need to pay these much fees.

Campus Life

The annual fees is not like that. It is semester fees and it differ for semesters and there are 6 semesters for 3years and for one semester average 1700 for general category student's and for students whose parents having government jobs. There are lot of events in my college and it is conducted by the ruiling party. There are elections in my college. During that time the joy is very much and after the election the winning students union conduct the programs arts fest,food fest,sports meer,college day,cultural fest,and also different varities of contests of special days as well. Apart from these there are programs for different department as well the association leader took charge and conduct programs. There are also extra activities like NCC,NSS etc.The amenities in class room are great according to the area of the class fans are put forward and also the classes are well furnised and the writing boards are also good making very easy and great ambience for studying

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you could get in the practicing period for placements if you dont have any supply you could get placements and college provides internship from 3 rd semester. Highest packs could be goven bank and maybe delloit idk how much it is but an avg pack of 75k per month will be there. If you got skills you would get in there.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester you will be eligible for campus placements. Big banks like federal bank, south indian bank provide high placement package with the highest package being 60k per month. Other IT companies like Wipro,accenture, and deloit etc also provide high package placements.Almost 50 to 75 percent of students get placed after third year. My plan is if i get a good package I'll go for the placement or else I'll go for my masters degree

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

Placement Experience:

The placement of this campus is very excellent. The collage has a placement assistance cell and every year 50 companies reaching this college for placement drive . Every year more than 80 students gets placed in large companies like EY , MRF and banks like federal bank , South Indian Bank etc. The federal bank offers a highest package of 16 LPA for pg students and 8 students got placed in 2024-25 academic year. Placement is opens for students studying final year. There is coaching for placement for free of coast for the students who registered for placements

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
