we can get admission in this course by jee mains through Jose counseling. we can fill the jee mains form online at the site of a. I have got an obc reservation. the admission process was quite good.

I chose this course because I got this in my ran and I wanted to prepare for the gate. the faculty to student ratio is 20. faculty in this college is quite good and teaching method is good. exams occur every 4 months.

The internship in the college is good. This year in the civil branch in the 5th semester almost 10 to 15 students got the internship. Most of the internships are offered by the noncore company. Core company has given limited internship offer

Placement Experience

placement in this college is very good. students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. some of the companies that have visited the college are google, Microsoft, oracle, etc. the highest package in civil engineering is 28 lac and the average package for civil engineering is 9 lac. almost 90 percent of the students get placed in the civil branch. after getting the degree I have decided to opt for placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure in the college is 880000 for four years. college offer fee remission based on the annual income of the family. cost to study is very much affordable as compared to other colleges. there is no fee hike in the college.

Campus Life

the college has a cultural fest, sports fest, and techno and management fest every year. there are 125000 books present in the library and many journals. classrooms are well equipped with modern technology. there are many sports like volleyball, cricket, football, and many others. there are many clubs like bibs, room, drift, etc.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facilities are very good. The rooms are very spacious. We get a single room in our second year. Mess food is decent and the menu has a different food hostel. registration for the hostels was done online at our time but from now onward they might be offline.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I applied for NIT Raipur NIT Durgapur and NIT prayagraj I selected this college NIT Jamshedpur because it has top class placement and the branch I was getting as mechanical engineering which is a decent branch. I got rejected from NIT prayagraj due to little less rank . The admission process of my colleges you have to qualify JEE mains with around 95 percentile to get any branch as a general student then you have to go for Josaa counselling in which you will be a lot at the seat . I did choose this college because it is quite old and reputed, being a govt college it has lesser fees and offered good placements, I got IIIT Lucknow as well, but didn't opt for it as it was quite new and didn't have proper hostel and residence facilities at that moment.
