For admission the Student should have passed the class 12th examination with 50% aggregate marks having PCB as major Subjects and he/she have to appear in the entrance exam conducted by the University. The entrance test comprises of an objective type question paper of 100 question having 25 questions each from english physics chemistry and biology. The Cut off generally lies between 40-45 marks. The students who have passed their class 12th from AMU schools get some relaxation and their cut-off ranges between 27-32 marks. Each semester comprises 2 monthly exams and one end-semester exam. The difficulty level of the exams is moderate to difficult.

I am planning to pursue an MBA degree and open a biotech company.

AMU being a central University takes a very nominal fee which is about Rs. 8000 per year while the hostel fee is Rs. 4000 per year. ASAAS annual fest is organized by the Department of Management in the month of May & M.A.Z.E is a tech fest organized by Zakir Hussain college of Engineering. Maulana Azad Library is the largest University library in Asia and it has more than 14 lakhs volume of books and subscribed journals. classrooms are conference hall typed, air-conditioned rooms, having ample amount of space for each individual. The classrooms have Projector and various charts and posters related to the course. AMU has been the best in providing sports facilities and Sports opportunities to its students. AMU has produced a number of notable and legendary sportspersons, one of them being Major Dhayanchand (Hockey). It has separate fields for each outdoor and indoor game. AMU is the first University to have an Astroturf Hockey ground in India. AMU Roboclub is a club run by students of Engineering college to help Robotics enthusiasts in creating an environment of Innovation and execution.
