Remarks

In this college, a special entrance exam is there i.e CGET.you can register for the test with the official id of the university. This test is totally free, there are no application fees. Through JEE or OJEE students are also do admission to this college but the only problem is the Awareness of CGET is not Good, students have to find it manually on the university website.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTECH IN COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING because I want to be a web developer in both the front end and back end. There are many faculty are there..both professors and asst professors. Faculties are much more experienced in particular subjects. There are 1 faculty for 20 to 25 students. There is a mid-term in mid of the semester and an End term is held last of the semester. In this University students are bound to attend all the classes and do all the assignments, projects, etc for a pass in Semester.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 175000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of BTech is 175000 and the Application fee is 10000 extra The fees for the semester apply firstly 1570 but now it hikes to 3000 per semester. There are many scholarships for students who scored good marks in 12th and 10th also. The job opportunity is good enough in this University.

Campus Life

At this University there is an Annual fest called ELEGANCE. It is held normally in the Winter seasons i.e between December and January. The library was good. A student can find all the books he/ she wants. The laboratory was fully central Ac. In this college, many sports Tournaments are Organised i.e Cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. There is a GDSC group at this University.

A well rounded campus life with industry oriented growth in college

Placement Experience:

placement at cv raman global university are good especially for cse/it . student becomes eligible from the 7th semester and compinies like TCS, infosys, wipro,capgemini, cognizant and ibm visit regularly. the highest package is around 15 lpa and average package about 4 to 5 lpa . aroud 80 to 90 % of cse/it student get placed. while non core branch recive fewer core offer but still get it/services opportunities. after my degree, i pland to start my carrier to higher studies for making me as a proffersor.

My Campus Life

Placement Experience:

After your 7th semi you will be eligible for campus placements Several reputed companies such as infosys,Wipro etc have visited our campus around my graduation time. The highest package offered was 6 LPA by infosys for the role of Data analyst while the average package stood at around 2.5 LPA to 3.2LPA . Approximately 60% or 6.5 CGPA secured students will be eligible for placements through campus drives. After obtaining my degree, I plan to Pursue higher studies like Mtech in a IIT'S or Niit hence i prepared for Gate 2 yrs .But meanwhile i was preparing for to get a job to take the responsibility of family so i started my carrer a a software developer.

The course is relevant enough to teach you all the basics you would require in engineering though some of the courses can be changed and in place of those new courses can be addded for example for non physics student teaching them quantum mechanincs and that too the old quantum mechanics doesent seem to make sense . KIIT has lost it's eminence and it's fame for quality education and good placement records

Placement Experience:

Placement record is not so good.. companies like Microsoft and Google have blacklisted KIIT due to poor performance and mismanagement by the KIIT in providing with the right candidates. KIIT shortlists students in basis of multiple tests taken on platforms like AMCAT and on that basics provides the profiles of best performing candidates to the companies invited for campus hirings regardless of the field and job specifications and requirements, so basically KIIT has a very below average performance Training and Placement Cell as they lack decision making and management skills to segregate candidates for hirings according to their skills and not by their general scores and CGPA. NOTE: Companies have shown least interest in KIIT for last 2 years and the poor performance of previous batches and mismanagement by KIIT authorities. KIIT promises 100% placements but that is actually far from reality.
