IIT Bombay ke suhane safar

The admission process for IIT Bombay is to crack jee mains and advance. If you are in a general category your rank should be below 3000 to get into IIT Bombay. And for any other categories, you can view them on the official page of IIT Bombay. There are no prior eligibilities for the course but you should have a learning attitude. You can find the application form on the NTA site and check out the application procedure on it for jee mains. Once you crack jee mains then you have to appear for jee advanced and for that, you have to fill out the form on the website of jee advanced. The cost for application generally varies between 1000-1500 for mains all attempts and 2-3 k for advance. There are benefits of availing reservation here mainly for sc and st students. They need to pay lesser application fees and lesser fees once they get into college as well.

Generally, one semester of our college varies for around 3 months. And in that amount of time, you have to give mid-sem and end-sem along with weekly quizzes. The difficulty of these exams is of jee advanced level and the quizzes are lesser difficult. It's not much difficult to pass the exams but to get a decent cpi you need to give time to study

Many companies provide internships in both technical and non-technical fields which includes BCG, Bajfinace etc. Certain projects are given to you and for every project, you get paid. Projects can include anything like creating a website or data analysis.

Mainly 4th year students are eligible for placements and thirties do their internships. Many companies visit iitb including Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Tata motors, Bajfinace, BCG etc. The highest package varies every year with 1.5 cr + definitely placed from past 3 years. The average package is 22.7 lpa Around 70% of students get placement while others start their own startups. I will choose to get into the consulting field after getting my degree

I didn't have any scholarship coz they provide that for sc st students and students whose parent's income is less than 500000. But I do get an education loan from the bank inside the campus at a 7% in interest rate

There are many social groups/ clubs that IIT Bombay have, including E-cell, mood Indigo (the largest college cultural fest of Asia ), provides( a program run by students to organise concerts ), Sarc, IITBSSP ( student satellite program), rocket team and many more. The sports culture of IIT Bombay is the best among all IITs as it includes indoor and outdoor basketball courts, volleyball courts and cricket nets. Almost all the clubs I mentioned above have their own websites. You can search them directly by their name in chrome.

IIT Bombay doesn't allow you to take any pg or rented room. It is compulsory to take a hostel . That's there policy and you have to follow that compulsorily. Though the condition of the hostels are good .hostel food is average. They will guide you for registeration process at the campus only.
