Remarks
Eligibility: Must be a graduate with any stream and to take admitted to the post-graduation program. The application form portal is available on the lbspg college's official website, first of all, you have to register for admission, after some time the merit list based on your graduation marks will be released if you clear the cutoff you are eligible for admission. Reservations are applicable the same as government criteria. Gen, Ews, OBC, SC/ST all quota students are eligible. I don't think there is any improvement needed for the process of admission.
Course Curriculum Overview
I choose this course because I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Sociology so I wanted to pursue my further education with a Master of Arts. The student ratio is quite good as it's the only good college in my district. Student-faculty ratio is 150:1, mostly faculties are government but some guest faculties also kept seeing the number of students and convenience. All faculties are Ph.D. holder teaching method of permanent faculties is very good there is some problem with guest faculties but they work hard. There are two semesters in a year which is quite a medium-level exam that easily can be passed by studying 15 days before the exam.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees depend upon the subject you avail for the master's program, practical subjects charged more fees, it's about a maximum of 80000/- for geography-type practical subjects while it is about 5309/- for nonpractical subjects. All the student who is eligible for the UP scholarship program are eligible to get the UP government school enrolled in this college, no individual scholarship is provided.
Campus Life
Annual fests or tech fests are held, and some programs are organized by the students themselves like seminars and other programs. There is a good library that contains more than 10,000 journals because there is a Ph.D. scholar who also studied on the same campus so there are a lot of journals and books by international writers. Classrooms are normal halls with the strength of more than 150 students, also a hall name Tulsi Das Hall for various programs and functions. There is an NCC course available along with graduation and postgraduate programs.
