Remarks

MHT-CET AND JEE are two exams for admission after admission fill exam form from the mht cet portal then cut off showing above the 70% mark needed and the PCM required an average of 50-60% mark. Reservation is available for all castes.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like Mechanical engineering because after completion you can switch your career to any other branch. All faculty members are well qualified and have good teaching methods practically and theoretically. Exams are simple six months needed for one semester, there are a total of 8 semesters.

Many small companies provided internships for students at Jaywantrao Sawant college of engineering Pune. Some companies give stipends during internship periods, and some companies only give certificates. Many companies' projects are useful in interviews with MNCs.

Third year last semester student are eligible for campus placement. Many companies are visited in jscoe offline and online mode like Wipro , accentuate , Capgemini, Tcs and average package is 350000. 90% student are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure for OPEN is 113000 and for OBC the fee is 65000. Scholarships are available, like Punjab Rao Deshmukh, OBC, vjnt, etc., and all scholarships are available.

Campus Life

Annual fest and sports fest are celebrated in jaywantrao Sawant college of engineering Pune after completing the in-semester exam in February or September. All types of ground are available for sports and social media.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.
