Course Curriculum Overview

2

Course Curriculum is good. Core courses are good as compared to CS & IT because of the faculty. Now the college has developed AI&DS lab. They also provide places to those students who are aspiring to be entrepreneurs futher more they have developed EIDC club of students who wants to be entrepreneur. For real world applications the faculty of all branches are not much proficient except some of the professors of mechanical and electrical. Exams conducted by the colleges are of decent level not much difficult. One can clear the exam easily with hardwork. Teaching methods of core branches are good as its all about machines but for CS&IT they didn't have much real world applications experience as they always give the same example, method is same they are no so apprachable as compared to core professors.

Internships Opportunities

2

College dont provide inernships. You have to go out and you have to struggle for it. They will only guide you on resume on making, and other things which are basic in terms of landing your first job in your particular field. One should not and one can't depend on college for the internships. Some professors might help you but only some not all

Placement Experience

3

From third year 2nd sem students start to prepare for their placements as in first sem of 4th year will knock the door. Placements are decent. Average is 3-5 LPA Highest is 20-30 LPA. companies visit are TCS, WIPRO, ACCENTURE, and other mass recuriters like Capgemini and all. 70% of the students get place in these companies. Some go for futher studies like ME/M-TECH or competitive exams like SSC CGL, Railways, MPSC.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st Year fees- 1.13 lakh 2nd Year fess-1,12,190 (till 4th year) For OBC- its around- 60,000 For SC/ST/NT/TFWs/Others its around- 13,000 There are scholarships for the students who have taken admission from CAP round. Except Open/General categories all other category students can avail scholarship. Students who top 1st Year get prize of almost 5000?.Management category students are not eligible for the scholarships. Also extra fees need of around 200?-800? need to be paid in order to get your stationary( which is compulsory ).

Campus Life

3

Annual Fest is ANTARNAAD its a fest of the college. Also college actively participates in festivals like Ganesh Chaturthee, Navratri etc. Access of libraries and journal are there. Sports enthusiam is decent not so hyped except football and basketball. They are best sports in this college. SIH and KPIT sparkle are some hackathons for the technical fest also PBLs are conducted which project based learning.

Admission

I chose this college as it is near by my residence. As Compared to some tier 2 colleges this is college lack campus, sports enthusiasm, technical competitions. Reason of joining this college was I was preparing for UPSC NDA and also it was near by my home. other colleges I opted for was PDEA, JSPM NARHE, JSPM, PCCOE, VIT, VIIIT, DY PATIL. Exams accepted by this college is MHT-CET, JEE MAINS, AIEEE.Mostly prefer JEE MAINS and MHT-CET. Cut off for Mechanical: 0-99 Electrical: 30-99 EnTC: 75-99 CS& IT: 85-99

Faculty

3

Faculties of core branches are good. Especially Prof. Tayade(Electrical) he is very knowledgeable supportive and also very much approachable to the students though he is little strict. CS & IT branch Faculties are good but not as much as Electrical and Mechanical because core branches has knowledgeable and experienced faculty. CS&IT faculties are knowledgeable but only theoretically. Dr. Sandeep Patil HOD of mechanical department is good with high amount of knowledge of his field. SPPU Exams conduction are good ( Strict). Unit tests and Pre insem also pre endsem is conducted. The exams conducted are lienient(Unit test, Pre Insem And Pre Endsem not SPPU EXAMS). Students generally does not fail much. out of 10 only 1-2 students only fail approximately.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
