Remarks
In order to be eligible for the MBA program at FMS Delhi, You have to have at least a 50% equivalent score in your undergraduate (45% for reservation candidates), And you will need to have a CAT percentile exceeding that of the FMS benchmark the year you wish to enroll for admission. The application form will be floated in the fmsadmissions.com portal around October to November period where you will be asked to submit your personal details and an evaluative SOP. If you have applied, and have a good CAT percentile (99.3+ for General Engineer Males), You will be called for a PI round on the campus which evaluates your overall skills like world perspective, communication skills, knowledge, current affairs etc. There will also be a discussion on your evaluative SOP and an extempore round in the PI. After your PI Round, FMS takes the overall score and releases the admission lists until all the seats offered have been accepted by the eligible candidates.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course in order to test my comfort zone, Have better chances at getting placements, and for getting exposure to a better-quality peer group. As I have not written any exams yet, I'm unable to comment on them, But the examination is conducted by Delhi University.
Internships Opportunities
FMS is a college that excels in the consulting domain with many companies coming to FMS with their front-end consulting roles, Same can be said for marketing companies. What FMS lacks is in converting Investment Banking roles from finance companies.
Placement Experience
There are two placement seasons: summer and Finals. Summers take place in the initial 3 months of the FMS MBA and Finals happen in the 3rd and the 4th semester. The avg. placement at FMS Delhi stood at 32.4 LPA as of 2022. The campus recorded 100% placements last year.
Fees and Financial Aid
FMS Delhi has one of the lowest MBA fees in India totaling up to less than 2 lakhs for 2 years, This is one of the most attractive qualities of FMS and nothing bad can be said about the same. Due to the reasons mentioned above, I have only taken out loans for accommodation and living expenses in Delhi.
Campus Life
FMS hosts table tennis, badminton, and a basketball court for sports activities so far. It uses the DU Gym facilities for both cricket and football training. It also hosts a number of debate clubs, filmmaking, dramatics music, etc. But a lack of infrastructure limits what these can do and is one of its biggest cons.
