Remarks
CAT is usually the way to secure admission. There is one admission form that is to be filled out. The cutoff is 99.6+ in CAT. Then there is an interview round. The weightage of CAT is 50% and past academics and interviews are 50%.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is pretty amazing. They are PhDs with a renowned stature. The ratio is 1:10. The method of teaching is case-based. The exams happen at the semester's end with 70% weightage. 30% is for internal assessment.
Internships Opportunities
All the major firms of every domain recruit students from FMS, The projects are also of varied nature. I was given a project to initiate web crawling for 99acres. It was a great learning experience overall.
Placement Experience
Placements are astounding at FMS. The preparation is extensive and hence bears the desired fruit. 100% placements, with an average above 32lacs per annum, is the current figure. I wish to work in Consulting.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees are meager compared to other colleges. There are various scholarship programs available. OPJEMS, and ABG are a few which are available through an interview-based selection. A campus job is not feasible owing to a hectic schedule.
Campus Life
The amenities are limited due to the lack of availability of space. The whole MSA is student-run. There is an annual fest by the name of Fiesta. The library is pretty extensive, quantitatively and qualitatively.
