I love physics, and that why I choose this course. The faculty is good and friendly. Faculty: students ratio is 1:100. All facilities are Ph.D. Holders from different universities. But the teaching methods of our PHYSICS faculties are not so ADV level.

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 1450 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of our college is very low compared to other colleges in our university. I have completed my b.sc physics at cost of 5thousand fees. The scholarship is not available for general-category students. Only for reserved categories.

Campus Life

All annual fest and tech fest are held during their time. e.g Christmas, Diwali, independence day celebration,26 January, Saraswati puja, etc. All types of books & journals are available in the library. A website is run for students. (www.dorandacollege.com).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually biotechnology is an interdisciplinary program where we have to learn mostly the practical skills but there is no such equipment for doing a decent type of research work as they are not in a working condition. So first it has to be corrected and new equipment should have to buy for a making a good laboratory.

It is told that students are ready for placement after sem 5 but in our case no as such placement was provided by the college But the history says that the average placement package is of around 4 lpa where the max package was of 8 lpa There are many options after this course completion where all the ideas and strategies Will be provided by the college

My college is not so bad. Proffesors are highly knowledgeable and friendly. Classrooms and labs are well equipped. College hostel are also good. Need some improvement in college infrastructure and placement cell.

Remarks:

This college is really good for economically week students. And it have daily classes too. In other colleges you will dont get the daily classes. But a negative is, you can see some professors who will take bribe.
