Remarks

For the BBA LLB course one has to appear for the CLAT entrance exam and based on the same, a cut-off of lists is released and admissions are taken. There are reservations too for Delhi residing students over the outside Delhi students which means Delhi students are preferred first because GGSIPU is a Delhi state University but not a Central University.

Course Curriculum Overview

About the course, it is well followed as per the GGSIPU guidelines and syllabus. Regarding the faculty, it's good and the ratio of faculty to students is also nice here in the college, where the professors are well-qualified from one of the top institutions in the nation including NLUs.

Being in a law college, one must not be dependent on the campus internship cell but rather look for their contacts or make a few of their contacts because one cannot just rely on the college for this thing. But still if one doesn't get any internship on their own, then there is an internship cell too which will surely get you one internship.

Placement Experience

Speaking the truth, if one is considering placement in law courses here on this campus then it's not the right place. Indeed there are placements here too but not as per the expectations rather students do well in off-campus placements than going for on-campus placements. With an average placement of 3-4 lacs here on this campus if you still are inclined towards the same.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee for the first year of batch 2021 was 1,10,000 and a further 1,05,000 for the next 4 years. But the fee structure changes or simply increases after every year or after every few years by a little. There is financial assistance too provided as per government scholarship schemes.

Campus Life

Regarding campus life, VIPS is a high-standard college in its way, looking around the infrastructure of the campus and the crowd here. One will feel something like "this place is of some high reputation and high standards". There are so many fests here organized on multiple occasions conducted by different societies of the campus with the help of its students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very much practical knowledge based and helps the students to grow there legal reasoning which helps them to prosper in the profession. Also it helps them to read and correlate the real time judgements being passed, this curriculum prepares the students to understand the reasoning behind the judgements. Though the curriculum is practical knowledge based it still requires many improvements as these case are old and some of them are even overruled, also the we have to write very long answers which needs to be changed as new methods like ooen text book exams can be adopted to improving.

Placement Experience:

After 2 years of integrated courses, you can become eligible for a job. In law, there is no company, but if you have good communication skills, you will be placed in one of the high courts or supreme courts under a senior lawyer. I don't know much about packages. My plan was to go to Oxford University for further studies.

Get set start with brief info about VIPS.

I applied for Delhi Universities and IP Universities. The first criteria to get into DU is based on merit but also you have the second option ie. by giving the the-Jat exam. Though the cut-off yet goes high for general category students. So I ended up getting into the topmost colleges of IP universities in my course. IP has an entrance exam for every student and the maximum % of admission depends on the Rank you get in the CET. For my course, it is mandatory to have Maths and English in your 12th. The l the rank results higher the chance you to get admitted. The process has 3 rounds after the results. Post getting the results you set your college preferences and according to your rank, you are allotted one. If you are satisfied with the college you can get yourself enrolled but if not you can wait for the second round which goes the same way. But even if you are yet not satisfied you can wait for the spot round ie. if someone leaves that spot. The entire admission process in IP is systematic....Read More
