Remarks
Getting into FMS Delhi requires a lot of Dedication. In phase one we had to fill out the CAT form, give the CAT exam, score well there, then fill FMS Delhi application form, for FMS Delhi SOP has to be written, then pay the application form fee which is Rs2000 within the deadline. In the next phase when we are called for the interview round, there are two tests one is the public speaking round another is the PI round. Then if we are selected a list of students is ranked according to their performance and several lists of admission come out till all the seats are filled (nearly 250 seats) here at FMS, but the competition is very high.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams occur after each semester after six months and internals takes place almost every fortnight, then the exams should be passed to be promoted to the next year with 40% marks in internals as well as final exams. Teachers are really sweet and clear the doubts whatever we have in our mind.
Internships Opportunities
Projects offered in the internships are dealing with day-to-day applications and in solving such cases I was highly intrigued and inclined more toward marketing. To clarify my doubts in between the projects we had mentors from the same companies but we were also given contact numbers of our alums already working there for several years in that company to whom we could reach out during our internship. Overall experience was great.
Placement Experience
The highest salary offered for the year 2022 was around Rs 58 lakh per annum for a consulting role and the average salary was around Rs 25 lakh per annum. The total number of companies visiting campus was more than 100 which are top firms in the industry.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees are approximately Rs 4,00,000 for two years, as this contains the student body MSA (Management Student Association) fee, academic fee, and exam fee. No other fee is charged by the college. Rest, for accommodation and logistics, people take pg or flat that cost is not covered in the amount mentioned above.
Campus Life
There are many cultural as well as technical societies, to name a few are Nethra, Drama Club, FAQ, Marksoc, Conclub, etc. The campus has a single building but that is the essence of our campus "the red building". The campus has seminar halls, a library, a sports room, faculties room, MSA and club room, etc.
Interview Experience
My interview experience was very bad, I had not expected that I would crack FMS Delhi, firstly, my interviewers had asked me to tell them about myself, and then an extempore topic on "Women empowerment". These two questions were good but post this the level of questions was really of high level, they kept a rapid-fire round with me in which they asked me to state the countries/places where the following products were manufactured in large and where the business is prevalent for these products like watches, cars, steel, rice and wheat, farming, perfumes, cakes, clothes, shoes, leather, etc. around 20 products were asked. They were testing if I could work under stress.
