FMS- Life at DU

I am a graduate of an engineering background with an 85+ score in 10th ad 12th. I filled out the application form for the faculty of management studies, in Delhi in September 2020. The form is a little different as compared to the other B schools because it has an additional section of Statement of Purpose with just 100 words limit. FMS is part of Delhi University, so it follows all reservation rules that are followed by DU.

FT-MBA is the course that I chose, it's the general MBA program for 2 years where you are taught the basics of all domains of management in the first year while in the second year you choose your specialization (majors and minors). The faculty of FMS is amazing, I love their methods of teaching, where live case studies are given and projects are on weekly basis.

The internship opportunity is given to all the students in the first semester. The preparation for the same starts as soon as you join the college. A 100% placement record sustains here as well. projects are in all domains of management.

Placements are conducted in the 3rd-semester post-semester exams. companies like amazon, Microsoft, google, BCG, Bain, Kearney, TAS, HUL, Nestle, and PnG come to the campus and hire students in big numbers.

Most affordable business school ever. 26 lacs average package with 3lacs fees. you can't ask for more. The fee here is 3 lacs for 2 years + MSA fees. the expense of staying in Delhi would be around 2.5 lacs per year.

Life at the campus is very sorted, we enjoy the North Campus vibes all the time. DU North campus is a bunch of colleges together like a family. there is a sports area for FMS and the university separately. The same goes for the library, one library for FMS and a central library for DU. Students of FMS can access both of these.

No GD at FMS. A personal interview is conducted in panels, where they look for confidence, clarity in SOP, verbal skills, general knowledge, and self-awareness. I prepared for this round through the coaching that I got enrolled in.
