Remarks

The eligibility of my course is 50. throughout. The admission process was very easy. I confirmed my seat and got admission. The fee structure is also very simple. Students get admission according to their jee score also. According to me, some improvement is needed in staff. The teaching staff is not permanent and is changed after 3-4 months. Teachers should be permanent in any organization.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer science and engineering because it is in very high demand onwards. Teachers are very kind and supportive they encourage all the students to do well in academics and life also. All teachers are highly qualified. There are 2 semesters in a year and we have to give exams 2 times a year.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 90000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is on a constant graph for 4 years. For my engineering years, it is around 90,000 per year which is approximately the average fee structure of all the colleges. There is a scholarship introduced by our college which is approximately around 5 crore for needy ones.

Campus Life

There are many events that are held on campus like freshers' parties, farewells, etc. Which is organized by the student welfare department with the help and support of students. There are many sports activities on campus also.

The curriculum changes as per the need of the industry norms so that student can attain knowledge about the basics as well as the niche technologies.This is the aspect to choose the course and the lab work and continuous competitions help us with the industry trends. The management could be improved. The frequency of exams help us learn well and difficulty is between easy to medium.

A life in my college.

Placement Experience:

Only skilled or quality are able to get placed. Usually onwards 6th or 7 th semester, students can be eligible depending on the performances. I can do a job if I like to work there. If not, I will do more internships to get hands on experience.

Placement Experience:

Placements are really great of our college as its avg pakage is of 11 lac from computer related branches. Girls are eligible in second year for inters and for boys its generally from 3rd year because of the reservations.

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies
