Remarks

There was not any type of entrance exam. There was just eligibility that the student should have studied in arts in the past ie those students are preferred in case of more students. The admission process is partially online and partially offline. Which causes a lot of confusion The only thing I want to improve about is that ut should be either fully offline or online.

Course Curriculum Overview

Due to covid outbreak admission for all courses was delayed we were expected to admit in an august month but we are currently about 1 semester late. Just had my exams about a few weeks back exams are really easy for now as for just passing

Class Size: 1500Course Fees: INR 8100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is pretty well according to a master's degree for the first year it is 8100 that too the university provides the study material for studying. No extra charges for the examination form or else. The scholarship process is also very simple just had to apply with the application and the required documents

Campus Life

Annual fest and other kinds of stuff are regular in a week or two in the university sometimes concerts and other fun activities are also conducted. Books are available to all the students in the library. There is an abundance of furniture and classrooms. But not heard of any websites for clubs except for drama club yet.

Placement Experience:

Placements are offered but not upto that level but yeah for toppers there are placements in the campus but for rest of students many companies visit for the purpose but the least number of students get hired. My plan was to prepare for the upsc exams

A Review on University of Kashmir

Fees and Financial Aid:

I paid 9279 for 1st and 2nd Semester in 2021 pursuing Masters Degree in Sociology. It included library fees, IT fees, NSS fee and other charges as well. There was no such departmental scholarship for students enrolled there.
