Remarks

The admission process was easy for Amity. There was no entrance exam. They just admit on the basis of percentage. After they find you eligible, another round of video interview happens which is very easy to clear you just have to have good communication and verbal skills and you are good to go. After the interview process, if you are selected they provide you necessary details of their microsite and Amizone (amity's own application) in which you have to register yourself and confirm all the details required for admission. They ask for your address and your parent's address, as details about your guardian if any, they verify the phone numbers and email IDs of both parents and the students. After the registration is done they ask you to sign an anti-ragging bond in order to avoid any ragging issues in the university. After this, they ask you to submit the fee. After submitting the fee you are admitted to amity.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I chose this course because I found it very unique and interesting. Besides this, I was really interested in learning foreign languages. Given plenty of opportunities in this field, I chose this course. However, it is very important to know that if you opt for this course you need to work hard. If you're not fluent in the language the degree will be of no use to you. It is a do-or-die scenario. The students in my batch are 20. Due to the less number faculty can really focus on each and every student. The faculty is really good and talented. They are passed out from top universities like JNU and DU. Exams happen at the end of every semester. Each year has two semesters so that gives you two term exams every session. The exams are not that difficult to pass if you are fluent in the language and you have vast knowledge.

Internships Opportunities

4

The internships provided by ASFL (Amity School of Foreign Languages) are not from any company but the university itself. There is a research work called NTCc that takes place every year of graduation.

Placement Experience

4

Students become eligible in the last semester of their graduation for campus placements. There are various companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Accenture, and Amazon that come with the opportunity in our department. The highest package the company offers is 500000 and the average package is 350000. The percentage of the students getting placed varies every year depending upon the number of students who want to sit in the placements and who want to continue their studies further. My plan after getting the degree is to go for further studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure in Amity is quite high compared to other public universities. But considering Amity is a private university, the course fee is not that high. It is affordable. Scholarships are provided to students who scored 95+ in their 12th, but if you have any backlogs in any year or semester your scholarship gets cancelled. Amity provides various campus placements for students like TCS, Accenture, Amazon etc.

Campus Life

4

Life on campus is quite happening. There are always small and big events going on at the university. Sangathan ( the sports event) and Amity Youth Fest happen every year at the university. Students take part in both of these events. Amity's library is the most luxurious place in Amity. It is very grand and has 3 floors. Each floor has divided sections for every department. The books and journals in the library are always available. The classrooms are air-conditioned and big. There are music society, debate society, dance society and many others in the university.

For campus placements, 6th semester students are eligible. There are various companies which visit our campus for the campus recruitment process some of them are IDFC First Bank, Adda 24x7, Piramal Finance, etc. The highest package offered was 5 lacs and the average package as per company was 350000. 40-50 percentage of the students are getting placements in the college every year. After the BBA Degree, I am planning for the Masters Degree for better placement. |

I'd rate BA Hons English curriculum at BHU 4.5/5. Strengths: comprehensive literature coverage, language skills development, and critical thinking. Weaknesses: limited focus on contemporary literature and digital humanities. Prepares well for academics, writing, and teaching careers.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The sociology course teaches me the norms of our society and family we live in. This course will provide a vast knowledge about the society and culture and this made me to choose this course. The time given is enough to complete the course and to understand it . The exams are conducted after every six months so the difficulty level is moderate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum at Amity University is a well rounded blend of theortical principles and practical relevance that shaped my future career. There are modules like microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics and statistics that provide a strong formation for any future career opportunities in economics or finance. Additionally the presence of specialise subject like health economics, developmental economics, international trade, public policy and behavioural economics very highly appealing and something you would not find in other universities or/and government university. The inclusion of such modules got my attention because it promised to go beyond traditional economic subjects and focusing on the practical subjects that are also industry specific level of domain of economics. They were also research projects, data analysis classes, case studies throughout the three year course which allows students to apply and test their knoweldge that further enhance the value of the degree. There were also subjects like environmental sciences, psychology, communicative English which was made mandatory for students that help them shape their personality and adapt more to a corporate setting. The examination system is designed to assess the viability of skills and critically but the difficulty of exam especially towards the end of semester can create unnecessary pressure for students. There will be time that there will be last minute syllabus changes or additional chapters to be considered and there is no structured format of what you can expect in the written exam however there is a fair grading system though some students feel that instead of the exams there can be more emphasis on analytical side rather than modules that require rote learning.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Overall curriculum was good that they make proper schedules of classes and all but there was something lacking is that sometimes the professor was absent and we wasn't aware about that and sitting in that class without knowing they should inform us or make a proper arrangement for replacing of class with other teacher and also there was lacking of technology in studies I didn't remember how many times they used the projector for proper teaching.
