The candidate should be graduated. The applicants should fulfil the eligibility conditions prescribed by Kannur University. Applicants have to submit their applications online. Applications are accepted on the basis of cutoff marks (cutoff may vary from year to year) Out of 20 seats 16 seats for merit admission and 4 seats for management admission. If the applicant gets a seat, he can go and take admission with the proofs mentioned by the university
Course Curriculum Overview
The department of Mathematics started in 1995 with Dr Ajitha V as the head of the department. Now the department has 5 permanent teachers. Two of the faculty members are PhD holders and one M Phil holder. The duration of the course (M. Sc Mathematics) is 2 years ( 4 semesters) The department has a computer lab with 20 desktop computers and with internet facility. There is a well-stocked department library.
Internships Opportunities
About 50% of students got internships from our courses in many companies. The highest salary offered in our course is 60,000 per month. Placement possibilities are very high because our college is affiliated with NACC with an A grade.
Placement Experience
About 60% of the students get placed in our courses. The students are mostly placed in Wipro, Infosys and other IT companies. The departments also provide the opportunity to teach temporarily in our own college.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course duration is 2 years ( 4 semesters). The total course fee is 9100. The course fee is not applicable for students on e-grants. The course fee is not applicable for the students who belong sc/st category. Also, colleges provide government scholarships for suitable students.
Campus Life
Department conducted coaching camps in various sports and events. Conduct 'Xmas celebrations and Onam celebrations including various games and events. Conduct annual day programmes. Conduct NCC, and NSS camps.
Hostel Facilities
A newly constructed college hostel with fifteen well-furnished rooms that help students who come from distant regions. The hostel provides facilities like a study hall, prayer hall, dining room and a spacious kitchen. the hostel building is situated just fifty meters away from the college.
