Remarks
The eligibility of the course is 12 passes with a minimum of 45 in PCM it would be good if you appear for JEE. The application form is available on the college website and has 60 seats in every branch, there is a reservation for SC/BC. And you will get scholarships if you take admissions here. Very good staff.
Course Curriculum Overview
I take ECE because I am interested in it from starting. Faculty is very good here with well qualified and experience of working in teaching and industry. Teachers are very well qualified because this is a government college so you will get a good and well knowledge environment.
Internships Opportunities
There are no such internship opportunities you have to do your own internships for the experience. But the teaching staff is Very good they will help you a lot with your every question and problem related to everything not only internships
Placement Experience
From 7 semesters onwards students become eligible for placement. Byjus like company comes for placement and this college has a good average of placement as this is a government college. Like 8 to 9 students get placements every year from every branch
Fees and Financial Aid
SIET is a government college so fees is low as other engineering colleges' fees are around 45000 per year. And if you are SC/BC so you can get scholarships from the government of around 60000 per year and if you are from Jammu Kashmir you will do your engineering just as for free
Campus Life
As per my experience, college has good in organizing fest as fresher and farewell and other activities like blood donation camp and celebrating functions. Good classroom structure with a playground to play.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel is in good condition and the room is in good condition with only 3 students in one room and has windows for air and good water and electricity supply. Hostels have a good quality drinking water and good mess meal
