I have chosen the CSE branch in my college. It was a nice course compared to other courses available in my institute. My first year included basic subjects like maths, physics, chemistry, etc. but after the start of 2nd year, our main subjects were included. Teachers were able to complete the syllabus on time and we also had sessionals and another test for knowing our limits.

In this college students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester of the course. Companies from Chandigarh, Mohali, Kurukshetra, Gurugram, etc. came up in the placement process. The highest placement offered was 15 lacs but in off-campus. Companies like AspireFox, Chegg, and Rellins, visit our campus for placements. The lowest package is around 3 lacs.

Our yearly fee was 45000. But this was divided into two parts. First for the even semester and odd semester. In the odd semester, the fees was 30000 and the other half was 15000. As our institute is government therefore it provides scholarship opportunities to students. Some of the scholarships are pmis and Pragati yojna for girls.

The college life was pretty good. There was regular organisation of fests once a year. The library is good place for students who comes for silent study. The class rooms are non ac. The sports related activities in campus is limited. There is one annual athletic meet a year and prizes are distributed on overall performance. Library had all the required books for the syllabus. There are also regular clubs for sports , speech , competition etc. Overall it was a great experience.

The hostel rooms are available in a descent price. The semester fees for hostel is 6100 but in the first semester 10100 are given to authority. The hostel is only available for first 3 years and not given to 3rd year students. The girls hostel infrastructure is much better as compared to boys hostel. Mess is also available for per day diet for rupees 90. The locals are not very friendly so so try to avoid them. 3 person stays in one room for full semester. The guard of hostel are friendly. Less distrubance day time but more im night.

To take admission to this college you have to do online counseling on HSTES on the basis of jee mains rank and after the online counseling, physical counseling. The Reservation is provided category-wise.

Our college has provided us with very experienced staff along with well behaved non teaching staff members. The teachers are very corporative and appreciates the hard work of students in every field. Most of our staff members are pursuing thier PhDs while some teachers have already completed it.
